I have known David for over twenty years and in that time have found him to be a very special friend. Recently I needed his professional advice and expertise. Within 24 hours of explaining my situation to him, he had resolved the problem. Not only would I recommend David as a lawyer that thoughtfully considers the individuals he represents but also as a person who is loyal almost to a fault.

A friend of ours recommended David Concha who was supposedly a really great immigration attorney, but I was a skeptic. We had an experience with another attorney last year who didn't seem care about us and just wanted money. I saw concha's reviews on google and he replies to most of them. "He must really care about his word-of-mouth reputation," I thought. Even the 1 negative review he had, he replied to saying that he really does care about his clients, and I thought it was naive of me, but you know what? I believed him. I came in yesterday with my husband. Contrary to what we experienced with the last attorney, Concha actually had the steps laid out in front of us and the costs were disclosed up front. Scattered around the office were awards upon awards of his achievements and I can see why. He looked us in the eye and gave us the whole story, the good and the bad, he gave us the truth. He gave us a plan and realistic time frame to have everything filed and paid. I really liked that he didn't try to scare us into dishing out all these fees right now. In fact, it really seemed like the money wasn't even that important to him. I came extra prepared and was able to skip a small process that he normally gets paid for and from the looks of it, he didn't even care! We expected that we would get an off reaction because we are a same-sex couple. This could not have been farther from the truth. When we disclosed our marital status, he didn't miss a beat and continued as he would with any other client. He assured us that because of the supreme court ruling we are just another married couple in the eyes of the law. I truly felt that my husband was in good hands. Based on my experience (take this as you may) I feel that David Concha is the ONLY immigration attorney to go to in Charlotte. It looks like he studied law to help people and still has the same enthusiasm as the day he made that decision. I believe that money is not his driving factor. His rates are half of what we originally thought and I feel that if he had no bills to pay, he would do this voluntarily. I made sure to get extra business cards to hand out to our friends as I truly recommend him to the anyone in fear of the current BS laws that affect immigrants. When we left we had a much brighter outlook on the situation. We know what to do, we know not to do, and most importantly, we know who WE will be contacting if things go south. Mr. Browning did a great job for my traffic citation. I got a speeding ticket of 50/35, which was the second in recent 3 years, but he still successfully reduced it to a Non moving violation and reduced court cost to $50. Best result I can expect. Before signing the services agreement he provided me enough information and explained clearly all the options. I strongly recommend his services!

I really can't say enough positive things about this law firm. I got a speeding ticket and then at least 20+ solicitation letters from Charlotte lawyers to represent me - I honestly did not know how to choose one. Howard Long listened to my situation regarding a traffic violation and immediately engaged with me in potential possibilities for having the violation dismissed or reduced. Unlike other law firms that solicited my business, he did not immediately jump to scare tactics involving projected increases in my automobile insurance premiums. He was truly sympathetic to my situation (a "rolling stop" at a stop sign in Davidson while driving a truck for a local charity organization) and expressed confidence that the district attorney's office would share his viewpoint. He sought all the facts and the mitigating circumstances and then shared his strategy for seeking a dismissal. After a couple of runs at the district attorney's office he was successful in having the violation dismissed. All of this was done over the phone and through scanned documents. I never had to go to his office, nor did I have to appear in court. Howard was pleasant to deal with at all times. His fee was about 75% of what the ticket and the court costs would have been if I'd simply given up and accepted the violation. However, that savings pales in comparison to the additional automobile insurance costs I would have had to pay. Don't let a police officer having a bad day and choosing to take it out on you cost you a couple of thousand dollars.

After a prolonged struggle of two and a half years to obtain a green card, I have finally received notification of approval for U.S.citizenship. We retained two different immigration lawyers for a substantial fee and neither one followed through, due to my very complicated history. I was ready to give up when we were referred to David Concha. This man proved to be proficient in all areas of immigration law, and due to his knowledge and very capable negotiation of the legal process, I can now plan ahead, and feel safe in doing so.
