I had an initial consult with Ashley November of 2015 regarding my current divorce. It was a very complex case that was in flux and very fluid. Ashley provided a road map on my options and her best recommendations. I hired Ashley in December to assist me with meeting my goals of what was in the best interest of my children, hold the opposing party accountable while maintaining a sense of amicability, and offered solutions that focused on the big picture that included all parties. Divorce / Modification / Contempt Proceedings are an emotional rollercoaster and thus it can be challenging for you to maintain that sense of calm that is normally employed in daily routines or challenging situations. Ashley provides that calm and sense of control while keeping all facts of the case in perspective. She excels at keeping the big picture and your goals in the forefront of the case and prevents the situation from getting side tracked. In addition, she actively seeks your input and participation which is vital to ensuring your goals are successfully met. Some of the attorneys I discussed my case with wanted to throw gallons of gasoline on the fire and weren’t concerned with collateral damage (i.e. family, kids, work, etc…) and more than happy to accept a cornucopia of checks required to keep the case going. Ashley, takes into account your sensitive financial situation, incorporates that into the strategy and works to a timely resolution that does not implode the financial resources. In the end Ashley assisted me in achieving the goals we laid out. There is no winner in divorce… everyone one loses.
