Never in my life would I ever have imagined writing a review for a divorce attorney. But in that moment of being pushed out of a boat and swimming in swift water, call Amanda Smith. She was compassionate and tenacious. She knew all of the right questions to ask, she was thoughtfully prepared for our mediation, and instrumental in recommending the right mediator that would be the best fit for our case. She is a badass. Period.

This is a paint-by-number assembly line. Your case will be treated as one of dozens, all to follow the same painfully slow process that dubs itself a law practice. I should have known from the first meeting I had with Kate’s team when Kate joined the meeting walking to her car, getting in her car and driving her car that she runs her practice on auto pilot. In three months time Kate’s firm did not so much as produce a single court date. I made clear from the start that my case involved a certain type of behavior by the opposing party, something that is quite common and requires a particular tact. I wanted my home back as the first order of business, and once opposing counsel claimed they could not make court dates in the first two months Kate’s team did nothing to challenge them. Kate’s law firm relies on dozens of clients and makes her money by letting cases drag on and on. The only progress that was made was done by me establishing contact directly with the opposing party and working toward a settlement by myself. Kate was fired for lack of progress and neglect. If only I could sue her for incompetence as well.

10/10 experience with Rech Law Firm, especially Amanda and Shelby. I will always be grateful to them.

What great firm! I not only recommend Attorney Shayna Matheny, but I guarantee once you have used her service you too will look no further. She responds in an extreme timely matter, is a very knowledge and trustworthy person. I retained her as counsel on a Family Law matter and she responded in a very professional manner. It has been a long-standing custody battle before I found Ms. Matheny and she was able to read up on my already made custody order and find a solution quickly. She was very kind but stern with the other party to assure acknowledgment on a very time sensitive and serious concern. I would HIGHLY recommend this firm, and should future problems arise I will most definitely be reaching out to her.
