Ms. Carter handled my divorce and child custody case in Union County. She did a superior job. I couldn’t be more pleased. Opposing counsel was trying to use my military service against me. They brought up my combat tours, my PTSD diagnosis and tried to paint me as a bad father who was going to go postal any minute. Ms. Carter brought in expert witnesses, neighbors, family and members of my platoon to demonstrate not only that I was trusted, loved and had served honorably but was a good father. She made the judge see the truth. Her commitment was unwavering, her steadfast determination unmatched, her work ethic unequaled, and she truly cared about me, my family, and my son. Anastasia Cowan is the one! If you’re going through child custody, divorce.. save time and energy and hire Anastasia Cowan. She’s a child welfare law specialist (1 out of 22 lawyers in N.C.). My child custody case is quite unique. The other lawyers didn’t grasp that. I’m grateful to God for sending Anastasia my way. She’s straightforward. She’ll tell you what you need to hear and will be tough on you if she needs to so you know what to expect and she’ll come up with a strategy to get you what you want. She doesn’t waste your time or money talking about everything and anything just to get billable hours. She focuses on your goal and will fight for you to get you what you want. If she’s that good at winning difficult and unique child custody cases, i wonder what she’ll do with standard, typical cases?
