I contacted them thru email for consultation. I received a call back in a decent time frame. She said that JUST consolation for 30 mins to 1 an hour would cost $500. I thought that was just a rip off. Majority of the lawyers I called charge anywhere from 50$ to 200$ for consultation. I hate when people try to get over and over charge. I do not recommend them and watch out if you chose them.

Ken was very thorough handling my custody modification case. Throughout the entire process, Ken was extremely competent and provided me with first-class legal counsel.

Still in middle of separation/divorce process with Ken, but still, as a male accused by spouse for "financial abuse", meaning I paid all the bills & now she must pay her own bills to live rent-free in our home, after I was evicted. I was desperate for a male oriented attorney. Ken does not place gender or race or sexual orientation above the law and gives sound legal advice fully in support of his client. Highly recommend if you need a legal expert in your corner!

Have to say that J. Brad Smith is a great attorney. He takes the time to deal with your problem even if he has to rearrange his schedule. The staff that I have dealt with are knowledgeable and professional and great human beings. If I could change only one thing, it would be the have a more timely response to calls and being kept informed of progress. But a better defensive criminal lawyer you'll be hard pressed to find.

Very disappointed in Anastasia Cowan and this law firm. I felt that she didn’t really care about what I wanted or especially needed as a client. I had hoped that she would have fought harder for me because this also affects my children. I contacted Mr. Arnold to let him know that I was unhappy. Didn’t help. I paid them thousands of dollars. I feel that my money would’ve been better spent if I had hired a different attorney.

Would be 5 stars but took to long to get my settlement check after signing insurance check over. Otherwise great legal firm.

Ken is a great guy and a great lawyer. He is very knowledgeable about the law, and the workings of the courtroom. He is also very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Ken works very hard to get the best outcomes. I'm happy I hired him.

Thankfully I met Mr. Harris at the beginning of a divorce that turned out to evolve into a nightmare perpetrated by character assassination and lies. He guided and advised me to the best possible outcome within the law. There are no good outcomes for a guy under NC laws, but I believe Mr. Harris knows how to navigate the judicial system to mitigate some damages. I would highly recommend Mr. Harris if anyone finds themselves in such an unfortunate situation.

I left a bad review of this place awhile ago and i have had time to reflect on my case and have come to the realization that due to the circumstances of my case no lawyer could have won my particular case because i was in a no win situation because of unproven lies of the other party. This law firm is very professional and attentive and my prior review was made out of misdirected anger and i sincerely apologize. I have been a client of this law firm for 11 years and they were at every court hearing fighting for me tooth and nail and we won a lot of the battles. We just finally lost the war, which was of no fault of theirs nor mine. It takes a man to admit when he is wrong and i was wrong for leaving a review like that of this place. I highly recommend this law firm, they are one of the best in mecklenburg county
