This law firm puts on a good show but the fact of the matter is you get bounced around between lawyers and many key details get lost in the process. They have huge egos and I found that more often than not I was put off and ultimately was just a number. The Personal service is terrible and I would not recommend using this firm if you want lawyers that make you feel like you and your family matter matters. Find someone else! The fee is outrageous for the service you receive.

Everyone during every contact made me feel they were truly dedicated to my "best interest" which is what any client needs when dealing with legal issues. Everyone was kind and personable, but at the same time EXTREMELY professional. I really appreciated the constant updates on my case. These updates were most important to me because I was never left wondering what was happening with my case. Just wanted to say thank you to every one of you and you are appreciated. Excellent lawyer. Attorney Epperson is great in court and reliable to get information to me. He was prompt with calls, email and text messages. I do not know what I would do without him.

Mr. Epperson is an excellent attorney. He and his staff represented us in a family court matter where we as grandparents were seeking visitation with our young grandson. We were forced to find an attorney outside our county and was blessed to find him thru an internet search. From our first meeting we knew he was the attorney for us. He explained up front that in North Carolina Grand Parents Rights are not easily obtained thru the courts. Our case involved court in two different counties with many obstacles being placed in our way. He put together an amazing case which convinced the Judges to rule in our favor many times. In the end not only was visitation awarded but full custody of our grandson was granted. Thank You James Epperson and Staff!

Mr. Epperson is a wonderful attorney! He is reasonable and very knowledgeable in his practices. He is a shark in the courtroom and has a big heart out of it. After 5 long years he was able to get my custody case completely turned around. 5 years ago I was an addict and lost custody of my babies. He took all the work I did and all the abuse I took from my ex over 5 years and turned it into a strong case! Such a strong case that the judge gave me physical custody and put my ex in my previous spot. He fought for me! He is still fighting for me! He gave me hope, he gave my life meaning, he gave me my kids back! He also did it in a manner I can afford! Mr. Epperson went up against one of the nastiest fighting lawyers in my area and made her look weak. If I had to do it all over I would hire him again and again.

I worked with Steve Ockerman through one of the toughest times of my life, and he was patient, thorough, kind but he totally looked out for both my daughter and my best interests the entire time. I trust him completely and I would recommend him to anyone.

I had hired James Epperson for a family law matter and it turned out to be a huge mistake. James Epperson never filed orders with the clerk or provided opposing counsel with requested documents. He's big trick is to reschedule the trial date, on the day before the scheduled court date. Please do yourself a favor and pass on this inept attorney.
