Although my property did not fall into a category that this firm would represent, they did give me some sound advice on accepting the NCDOT's offer for my property. I countered the DOT's offer and received a settlement that was much more in line with what I thought it should be. The NC Eminent Domain Law Firm is the firm to contact if you will be dealing with the NCDOT in reference to them taking any land that you may own.

The appraisal commissioned by DOT did not provide any compensation for limiting access along 60% of our property's road frontage. With the help of attorney Jason Campbell we were able to triple the amount that was initially offered by DOT. While the amounts for our case were relatively small, their entire team put substantial effort into obtaining a satisfactory settlement.

It was stressful negotiating with the City of Raleigh for 11 months on residential easement issues when they had the experience and leverage. Eventually it was clear that we needed help. We retained NC Eminent Domain Law Firm for the last 7 months of that period and finally got an acceptable resolution.
