My daughter was in a very serious accident, left pelvis shattered and in traction for a while. I was not sure what her future would be not to mention hospital bills! My sister was visiting me in NC at the time and when she looked at my daughter she said "oh, she needs an attorney!" My sister works in the courthouse at a rather large city in PA. Well she got on the phone that day and spoke to her lawyer friends and that same day I was given Donald Strickland's name and number.It was a true blessing to have Don represent my daughter. Besides her physical problem she had a lot of depression. Don stood by her thick and thin.He worked with me to put the best plan together for her and let me tell you! He did!! When we lost our son to a drunk driver, Don sat and interviewed with us...after the interview, he asked everyone to leave the room except for my husband and myself. Don and his team represented me in a personal injury matter. The accident took place at a publicly-owned facility maintained by an private outsourced maintenance company, so there were several parties involved. I live in New Jersey, and to complicate things even more my accident took place during a business trip, which entailed New York state Workers Comp law, insurance and medical procedures. Soon after the accident and surgery, I reached out to a number of North Carolina attorneys to explain my situation. Don was the only one who took my call, listened carefully and gave me his initial conservative assessment. He and his team then conducted discovery and depositions of the parties involved, which led to clear evidence of negligence. After losing my father in a car accident, I was not looking forward to talking with lawyers. I was under the impression that most lawyers talked a big game, but all of a sudden didn't have time for you after being hired. After 10 minutes of talking to Don, I quickly realized that he was different than what I had been lead to believe about lawyers. He was actually a very caring person who wanted to help my family and had our best interest at heart. It was also clear that he was extremely knowledgeable in his field of work, but he was able to explain things to us without making us feel dumb. After the initial consultation, my little sister and I knew we wouldn't find anyone better, so we hired him. The whole time we worked together, he never hesitated to call or email me back when I had questions about something...and I had a lot of them. He always seemed to make time to help me. It didn't take long before it felt like I was talking a friend instead of a lawyer. He is truly incredible at what he does and I HIGHLY recommend him. I can't thank him or his office enough for what they were able to do for my family.

Absolute CROOKS. Run, don't walk from anything that Robert Beason wants to mediate. He spent 8 hours for our mediation and the entire time kept mentioning that he had to rush out for his holiday dinner. He didn't record a single item. The two sides came to an agreement and because of his unprofessionalism and in-ability to write the agreement down, nothing was done with our case. He then has the nerve to bill us over $1300 for this wasted day. He gives mediators and any attorney a very bad name. Not to mention, he threatened our attorney for the bill and then would not even speak to us on the phone about this laughable charge for services NOT rendered. Again, DO NOT use him for anything or any legal matter!!!
