We were creating an LLC, and got a very helpful free initial consultation with tons of good advice (we're a small business). No pressure to do anything, and we got very up-front info on what costs would be (they are fixed for an LLC, which was great). What put me over the top for writing a review was that filing for our LLC with NC would have happened ideally right before everyone goes on Christmas break, but our contact Kathy got back to us quickly, filed everything so fast that it was actually confirmed by the state on the same day, so that we had a ton of time to get to work with our new LLC. One note was that we considered doing an online LLC, but with the rush, and it being our first time, decided to use a local pro. Happy to say that one of the things that would have been costly add-ons with the online places, was free with WL, so that made the apparent online savings not really as big as we thought. Plus Kathy suggested some things that gave us more privacy (vs reviews I've read about the LLC online setup I was considering, selling our info). Things we liked about Walker Lambe: — Found them through the Durham Chamber (we're members and like to find things that way) — They weren't intimidating to talk to, with us being new to using a lawyer — Really useful free initial consult — Quick responses and work that saved us a ton of time — LLC cost matched others we have seen, and some add-ons were free — Having someone nice locally to ask questions feels great :-)
