I've had to use a few lawyers over the years for various reasons and Ana Alexander is by far the best I've ever gotten to work with. Truly. My son's mother has tried several times to keep my son from me during my custodial time and each time Ana and her paralegal Jessica have worked swiftly and assertively to keep me from losing any time with him. Ana has also helped me to draft our custodial agreement and was very kind, educational, and efficient throughout that process. I also sought Ana's representation when I had to appear in court to defend against false allegations from my son's mother. I could not be more thankful (and posting this on a day of thanks to emphasize this!) Ana, Jessica, and team have been an absolute blessing. No one ever wants to have to find a lawyer when parenting and custody issues arise, but if you have to, I would highly working with Ana. She is sharp, responsive, resourceful, and she really listens. An added bonus is that Ana truly understands the added complexity of raising a special needs child, which is incredibly amazing since I’ve been navigating the system alone for many years. Incredible to be able to have her representation. To have some one understand the IEP and the accompanying flexibility a parent must have to ensure that the IEP is in place is so rare, but Ana completely understands this and considered this in all forms of communication. As children grow, and their needs evolve, it’s important to have an advocate who can work with you through those changes, especially in a highly contested custody situation.
