After getting ANOTHER speeding ticket in NC, I had to find a lawyer as I live several counties away from where I had to appear in court. I knew I had to find someone but I let some time pass and I was several states away and realized court was in a week.. Right before the holidays.. I took to google and saw a ton of law firms but for some unknown reason, Dixon & Thompson Law’s website grabbed my attention. I read up on them and called the office. Julie was great. She listened to me complain about the Troopers writing Paramedics tickets and then told me about the process. The ticket before this one I had to hire a lawyer. I was happy enough with the result, the speed was dropped to 5 mph over and would not affect my insurance, but it cost me a LOT of money. When Julie told me they also pay the fine, I was a little tense based on what I paid last time, I was hoping I could wait on the fine until my next check.. She told me the price included the lawyer AND court costs and that most likely I would have ticket reduced to a code violation. I hired them on the spot and 10 minutes later put the money in escrow. The day after my court date, I got an email saying my speeding ticket was reduced to a code violation, no points, no insurance hit and I would get notification of when the court was paid. I am thrilled! My goal is always not to get caught speeding ;) but if it ever happens again in a county where they will go, I will absolutely use Dixon & Thompson again and so should you!

I was amazed that I didn’t have to worry about the citations that I received. Mr. Dixon and his team of highly qualified team handled my case and I never had to worry about anything. I was pulled for 80 in a 55 while I was passing someone on one of the long backroads out by the outer banks and they hit me with reckless driving and 25 over. Dixon and Thompson at a very reasonable price got my reckless driving dismissed and got my speeding down to improper equipment! I only had to pay court fees, they’re awesome!

They did exactly as they said and resolved the matter quickly without me having to show up. I would highly recommend using their office.
