I received a speeding ticket in North Carolina (70 in a 55). After comparing lawyers to have the ticket reduced, I chose Dixon & Thompson to represent me for several reasons. Firstly, there is no automated system to work through. You speak to a real person, and she is very professional, kind, and honest. Secondly, the lawyer makes it a point to speak with you, and does so with everyone interested in their services. Thirdly, because of his long career working with the DA, he was able to knock my speeding ticket down to a non-moving violation (city code violation). No higher insurance premiums, no points on my license, and no record of this on my driving history! The flat $400 fee is comparable to what other lawyers charge, give or take. But his ability to handle the ticket before my court date and the likelihood of reduction to the city code violation versus the improper equipment charge that others quoted made me choose this firm. Hopefully I won't need their services again, but should you find yourself in this predicament, this is the firm to choose!

Went on vacation to obx, fell for the speeding trap on the main rd. Knew it was a scam when after being super polite to the cop she decides instead of giving a regular speeding ticket she gets me 2mph over the 15mph that mandates you to go into court. I’m from philly and there was no way in hell I was driving 6 hours for a speeding ticket. I then called 5 lawyers and quickly found out I had wasted my precious vacation time because then I found Dixon and Thompson. Literally from start to finish they put my mind at ease, told me not to worry that they are professionals at this and even told me they can take care of it much sooner than the court date. Received a speeding ticket in a "speed trap" zone heading to visit my ailing father-in-law back in June 2020. Once I received my ticket, several letters arrived in the mail from different law firms willing to represent me. I selected Samual B Dixon Law firm as their letter to me was the most organized of all and their price was the most reasonable. They settled my case to a city violation which did not impact my license or insurance AT ALL! They were extremely helpful, compassionate and worth every penny for fighting my case for me being 2 1/2 hours from this location. I would highly recommend them to everyone!!!

Highly recommend. I recieved a ticket for going 25 over the speed limit. Thought I was going to get my license taken and take driving school. However, Mr.Dixon got it settle as improper equipment and I couldn't be more happier. I did not have to go to court and it was handled swiftly. Definitely learned my lesson to slow down but I highly recommend to anyone!
