I was returning home on my 20th anniversary and I missed the sign where the limit dropped from 70 to 55. My cruise control was set at 70, but since it was downhill the car was going somewhere around 75. It was then I had the pleasure of meeting NC's finest who said "you're going a tad too fast" and didn't want to hear my explanation. Couple days later, here come the letters!!! I chose Dixon & Thompson because (a) they were local (same county) and (b) the reviews were amazing. Add one more amazing review!!! Ms. Gray told me the procedure and said "don't worry... Mr. Dixon will be able to help". Just a few short weeks (and much anxiety on my part) later, I get an email stating that he was able to talk with the DA and get the ticket reduced! No points to license or insurance issue!! Thank you Mr. Dixon and the staff at the firm. I hope we never have to "meet" again, but if I ever need you I will be glad you're there

I got a ticket for 76 in a 55 zone. I'm 85 years old - no ticket or accident in over 30 years. In the next 2 days I received over 20 letters offering legal services. I liked this firm's letter and reviews. I called the office, but Mr. Dixon was out of town, so I discussed this with his staff. They were excellent reps for the firm, and told me not to worry. They were confident about getting the charges reduced, but said that I might have to take a drivers course. I was comfortable enough with them to pay in advance. I sent one email with pictures of my ticket and drivers licence. My next communication with them was an email saying that the ticket had been reduced to a no point offense and no driver course. That was followed by receipts for the payments. Case closed as expected. It doesn't get any simpler than this!!!!
