I met Miss Cook through my late wife. She has handled every legal matter including some complicated custody issues with expediency due diligence and excellence. I don't get the above comments but everybody has a right to their opinion and perceived experience. I would recommend her wholeheartedly.

I hired this attorney and paid her thousands of dollars. She got to court and rolled belly up. She told me to take the minimum custody/visitation being offered by the opposing attorney or she would quit on the spot. She never presented any of the concrete evidence I had of fraud, contempt or domestic violence against my ex. I wasted years and thousands believing her. If 0 stars had been an option, that's what I would have rated her. Avoid this firm at all cost.

BEWARE of this attorney. I had this attorney for over 15 months and not one time did we ever step foot in a courtroom. She got one continuous after another. If she ever get's mad at you for anything, she will talk with you and prolong your case but she will do absolutely nothing for your case. After getting a great deal of money from you, she will ask to withdraw from your case. Instead of representing you, she goes along with what the opposing attorney wants to do. I say this from my own experience with this attorney. I wished I had read the reviews of others because if I had, I would not have hired her .

Very reasonable and straight forward. Heather Miller Cooke help me to get visitation with my children after not seeing them for almost 8 months. The end result, I was able to get joint custody, and was able to get divorced all in the same day. She doesn't sugar coat anything, and very easy to work with. Was also able to keep my child support at a reasonable limit to where it didn't affect my living expenses. Thank you Mrs Cooke.

Hello, This is Stephanie White I am writing you pertaining to my temporary order I am having an issue due to the fact that nowhere in my order does it state that Timothy William Robinson and I can set arrangements to pick up Sadie White if she does not feel comfortable with overnight stays I specifically remember agreeing only to overnight stays is I could pick her up at any point in time that she felt uncomfortable me and him are having a disagreement due to the fact that he does not want to set Arrangements for drop off if she feels uncomfortable due to this fact I do not feel comfortable with her staying overnight and I don't know what to do if you could please email me back as soon as possible to let me know what is in her best interest for me to do this weekend and next weekend thank you have a good day

I came to this lawyer, Heather D Miller Cooke for a legal guardianship document in 2013 so I would able to receive financial aid for college. Instead of telling me she couldn't do it, she took the money and gave me a custody paper. The school is saying that is the wrong document and now im not able to receive financial aid from the school to futher my education.

I was a victim of domestic violence for 8 years and am a great mother and was a loyal spouse. my ex makes 80k / yr.. was a pill addict and i was a full time student with a 3.7 GPA. I came out of this marruage with nothing . Not even child support. and was forced to file for food stamps. cannot even return to school. Horrible trust. horrible representation.if you can consider her time respresentation. she stood in front of the judge and said " i don't know what my client needs"

Was more focused on trying to prolong the case to collect more revenue. Constantly came to court unprepared, and never gave the proper counsel that a lawyer charging what she charged should do. She often would refer me to her husband lawyer, often time with no notice!!

Heather has been my attorney since 2008. She is the one person who tells me the way it is! She is brings me in from the brink of insainty and give me a good o dose of realty. She always has the best interest of my kids, even though one is 22, at heart. She never backs down from a fight.

This lawyer actually told us we wouldn't win but took our money regardless. If payment isn't recieved when things are good, then she moves to drop you, even without notice. She is a horrible lawyer. Feel free to contact me.
