I was told within 30 minutes that it was a no win situation to file a restraining order on someone. I had proof they were following me and did not want to face a judge myself. They said that since there was not an immediate restraining order set by the judge, that my chances were all but none. They said that judges here in NC don't take these types of restraining orders seriously. Don't try was what I got out of this. I'm no law expert but I give it my all BEFORE I tell someone it's over. I don't ask for payment 1st then turn around and say sorry.

Just wanted to share my experience working with Attorney Edwards. My first impressions of Attorney Edwards is he is very professional. I felt comfort in knowing he does not allow his emotions to prevent him from seeing the bigger picture. It's evident he has been working in family law for a long time and knows what he is doing. He seemed to have a good assessment of the Judges and the working relationship seems to be favorable and respected. He provides honest feedback, even if it's a tough pill to swallow. My case was a particularly challenging time in my life and he was very attentive and responsive. Having a busy but responsive attorney can give peace of mind to a client that worries and feels left in the dark. One peice of advice.. if Attorney Edwards recommends something think it over seriously. I made a mistake of not taking his advice once and it bit me. Remember an Attorney will fight for what you want, even if its risky. He knows what he is talking about and I encourage you to consider it thoroughly before rejecting his recommendations. It wasn't cheap, but I do believe Attorney Edwards more than earned his pay with me. I have recommended numerous friends to him.
