I had the benefit of being represented in my divorce case by Mrs Laura Devan. As a busy physician, I needed someone who was efficient and knowledgeable to bring my case to a desirable end in the least amount of time possible. With her being a former judge, and her years of experience in the judicial system, influenced my choice. My decision paid off in a big way. Mrs Devan got to work on day 1. She was immediately reassuring without giving unrealistic expectations. You know almost immediately that your case is in good hands, so to speak. As an erudite attorney and former judge, she also knows her way around the courtroom. Mrs Devan continued to work through my case even as she was experiencing a tragedy of her own. She was thorough, no nonsense, taking time to meet with me on a Saturday and even Sundays, whenever our schedules would be compatible. Mrs Devan remained extremely accessible throughout my case by email or phone. Her office staff was accommodating and professional, keeping you well abreast of court dates, depositions etc. In summary, we achieved the best outcome possible in the least amount of time and against all odds . Worst attorney to deal with child custody ever. This attorney never asked me what did I want going into my case. She threw in my face how she get paid by the hour multiple times as if I couldn't afford to continue paying for her. This lady is so rude I stopped all contact right before my trial. I represented myself in trial and came out with exactly what I wanted. If I would have paid this lady, only thing she would have done was get the case continued and kept charging. I went through all the other reviews, I wish I would have met the person they claimed represented them.

Top Notch! Cannot ask for any better! They represent their customers thoroughly! Family has used both Mrs Devan and Mr Null. Great customer service. Prep work with customers is amazing and thorough! Understand you as a customer have to do your work as well. It’s a team effort! They are well prepared when in court! Laura Devan was my first experience with a lawyer and helped navigate me through a very tough divorce. She gives great advice and is direct and to the point which paid dividends. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend her. The paralegal staff was also very easy to work with and extremely responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Devan and Null are a great choice and I highly recommend them.

If I could give zero stars I would. I contacted this attorney office last year for a speeding ticket. I was reassured that I was in good hands and paid them $400. Fast forward, my attorney never went to my court date and I got a letter in the mail to turn in my license due to a “Failure to Appear”. After reaching out about this issue, I was told that it was a “mistake” and would be fixed by a certain date. Unsurprisingly, I never got a follow up so I had to resolve this issue on my own. I was out of another $300 or so dollars which $200 of this amount was a penalty fee for my attorney never showing up in the first place. Oh and the front desk is worthless. All she will do is ask you to leave a message and never follow up. Don’t use this attorney’s office. They will take your money and waste your time.

So far, Ms. Devan has done a great job with my case, although we have not reached a resolution with the counterpart. Ms. Devan has been harsh but very clear and honest when explaining what could happen.
