Started off ok, he seemed smarter than most lawyers, until he failed to notice that a mailman forged a Defendant's name on a court notice 6/24 for a hearing 7/9 which he missed due to the post office committing a felony. He never asked WHY the Defendant missed the court date, which was an automatic contempt of court and possible jail time! It took me reviewing the paperwork until midnight 8/27 & the defendant then tracking down the mailman and talking to his Supervisor the morning of 8/28 to get to the truth. The contempt of court had only been about not signing a listing agreement when the Plaintiff's Realtor literally TOLD the Defendant to let him know when the proceeds disbursement dispute had been worked out & THEN sign it, so it was not even possible to comply with the court order. Not only that, but the Defendant filed an answer to the court order that's never even been addressed, and Nicholas Street did not seem to care about that AT ALL, and quickly sided with the Plaintiff after taking $500 from the Defendant! When the Defendant emailed him asking what happened to his answer Nicholas sent him an arrogant, snotty email telling him to do whatever the Plaintiff wants to avoid jail time! NOT COOL. You are either negligent or a crook in bed with the Gaston County Mafia/legal system and you should be ashamed of yourself and refund the $500!!!!!
