Adam Arthur was a very non-professional attorney. He handled a custody case regarding my son. He was very unprepared when he came to court, he did not know his facts before questioning witnesses, Took 1-2 weeks to return calls. When instructed by the judge to file motions the first motion took 2 months to file and the final motion has been notarized and sent to him but has not been filed after 6 months. I would never recommend him!

I have used Adam’s services for just about 3 years. Adam represented me for my divorce that involved significant challenging conditions. This included, parental alienation, adverse relations between separated parties impacting child custody, mandated therapies for my family, professional custody evaluations, litigations for my parental rights, litigations for finances (ED and support) and numerous adverse situations that my separated spouse presented on an ongoing basis. Unfortunately for my entire family, including my kids and X-spouse, it was a very eventful case that required constant maneuvering.
My results have been astonishing in that Adam was crucial in not only getting my kids back into my life after a 9 month alienation, I was given equal rights to my X spouse in every aspect. This required thoughtful litigation, maneuvering in court and proper direction for professional custody evaluations. This also enabled me to have additional favorable options in the equitable distribution and support payments.
Just to note, Adam’s legal partners and relations in the court system yields a wealth of knowledge, respect and maneuverability that is a benefit to his clients.
I have unfortunately found myself in a very ugly divorce, Adam has helped me obtain all I was legally capable to obtain and a bit more...Don’t forget, It’s not as simple as you can just obtain what is legally yours, or what is ethically right for you to have or getting back what was taken…Its, can you get it? I would start with Adam.

Mr. Gorham handled the loan closing for our home in 2007. When we tried to refinance we found out there was a problem with the address on our deed. When I spoke to him about it, he refused to fix the problem. He told us we could take the original deed to the courthouse and do a re-record of the deed with a handwritten correction of the address. The address problem caused our refi to take four months instead of 4 - 6 weeks. I wouldn't care so much about the wrong address because there was some confusion when we moved in what the correct address should have been so I am willing to forgive that, but his refusal to pay for his mistake and cop an attitude about it was the problem. On top of that, the only reason he had the original deed is because after our original closing, he tried to mail the original deed and title insurance policy to us but it was returned "No Such Address". Not once when he received that back in his office did he try to call us and tell us it had been returned. Don't you think if something as important as an original deed gets returned "No Such Address" that you might pick up the phone and at least try to reach the owner???
The other problem we had with his office is this. My husband is a doctor and Mr. Gorham handled a personal injury case for a patient. He did not return phone calls in a timely manner either to me or our patient (according to the patient) and when it came time to settle, we had to take quite a cut in our original bill and it settled more than a year after the accident when cases like this one normally take about 5 - 6 months. This cut happened before we found out about the deed issue and we felt like because we took a cut for his client to help out, he could have helped us out.
I would recommend that if you have any need for an attorney that you don't use Mr. Gorham as he can't be trusted to do the work properly and in a timely manner.
