Attorney Smith has been my attorney for many years. He is very straight forward, and to the point when he is communicating information to you about your case.
In addition, he is very knowledgable in his field and respected in the community. He always has the best interest of his clients.

Five Stars. I have found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. He is well versed in his field and keeps current with all the changing laws. He has helped me numerous times when I didn't understand the law and he takes his time to explain things in a sensible manner. I highly recommend David B. Smith Law office because I know that you will be well taken care of with any issue that you present him with. Last but not least his billing his very fair and reasonable .

This is the best attorney I have retained. He is honest, fair, and consistent. He knows his job and everything that applies to it. The 1st consult is the same outcome that the courts decide on the last day. He is the BEST ATTORNEY EVER!!! He is experienced and I have his number saved under emergency contacts. I can't think of a legal situation he can't handle. I just wish someone would have told me about him before I wasted my money.

I would like to thank Mr. Carpenter and his entire legal team. My close family friend was charged with serious federal charges and facing a mandatory 10 year prison sentence. Alec kept us informed throughout the entire process and made us feel very comfortable from the beginning to the end. The co-defendant ended up receiving 5 years and my friend received federal probation. This was a very difficult case for all of us and Alec and his office were amazing. I cannot thank Alec enough and I highly recommend this firm. They truly are the best. Thank you!

Do not even consider using him. He did nothing. He did not even try. He ran up thousands of dollars in fees. He actually said in my defense... "Well, you know, these things happen." He said nothing in my defense. He was only concerned with how much an appeal will add to the cost and whether he had ever beaten the other prosecutor. Judge Holliday was even worse. She thought I was someone else. She assumed I was guilty before taking the bench. She asked if she should excuse herself from the trial. I said yes but Tom Maddox yelled over me and said it was ok. He said before trial, we are going to lose anyway. I was innocent. Now I can't get a job or an apartment. Amazing they will listen to anything a cheating wife will say during a divorce. Tom Maddox made things worse. A negative star.

Hopefully you see the other bad reviews and look elsewhere. The people that I know who have used these services are unhappy... including myself.

Adam Arthur was a very non-professional attorney. He handled a custody case regarding my son. He was very unprepared when he came to court, he did not know his facts before questioning witnesses, Took 1-2 weeks to return calls. When instructed by the judge to file motions the first motion took 2 months to file and the final motion has been notarized and sent to him but has not been filed after 6 months. I would never recommend him!

Mr. Gorham handled the loan closing for our home in 2007. When we tried to refinance we found out there was a problem with the address on our deed. When I spoke to him about it, he refused to fix the problem. He told us we could take the original deed to the courthouse and do a re-record of the deed with a handwritten correction of the address. The address problem caused our refi to take four months instead of 4 - 6 weeks. I wouldn't care so much about the wrong address because there was some confusion when we moved in what the correct address should have been so I am willing to forgive that, but his refusal to pay for his mistake and cop an attitude about it was the problem. On top of that, the only reason he had the original deed is because after our original closing, he tried to mail the original deed and title insurance policy to us but it was returned "No Such Address". Not once when he received that back in his office did he try to call us and tell us it had been returned. Don't you think if something as important as an original deed gets returned "No Such Address" that you might pick up the phone and at least try to reach the owner???
The other problem we had with his office is this. My husband is a doctor and Mr. Gorham handled a personal injury case for a patient. He did not return phone calls in a timely manner either to me or our patient (according to the patient) and when it came time to settle, we had to take quite a cut in our original bill and it settled more than a year after the accident when cases like this one normally take about 5 - 6 months. This cut happened before we found out about the deed issue and we felt like because we took a cut for his client to help out, he could have helped us out.
I would recommend that if you have any need for an attorney that you don't use Mr. Gorham as he can't be trusted to do the work properly and in a timely manner.
