. In my current situation, nearly every review that I have written up until now has been a negative one. With over three years of dealing with the Forsyth County court system and legal professionals that were unreliable, dishonest, ineffective, and seemingly only concerned with an amount of money they could make, Attorney JEREMY SWINDLEHURST is a breath of fresh air, and should be the model of professional behavior that all members of his profession follow. I walked into Jeremy’s office mid-morning on a Friday. I came in unannounced with no appointment and I was distraught. The receptionist (also a gem) listened to my story and connected me with Jeremy. Jeremy dropped what he was doing and spoke with me at length about my case. He was patient, thorough, and gentle yet direct. He was straightforward about the good and the not so good issues of my case. He did not pretend to be able to fix everything, but instead, provided options for fixing or improving everything that he could, with an immediate regard for the most urgent issue at hand. On one of the most difficult days of my life, Jeremy was there. He spent an extensive amount of time with me, above and beyond the typical time limitations of an initial scheduled consult. Again, my consult was not even scheduled, yet Jeremy allowed me the time I needed to feel confident in my next steps before leaving his office. Furthermore, Jeremy allowed me to follow up with him after the day of the consult, without charge, to ensure my well being related to items we had discussed. I highly recommend attorney JEREMY SWINDLEHURST. He is one of few attorneys I’ve met who is dedicated to the fundamental purpose of his profession which is helping people when they are most troubled and most vulnerable. I visited three well known legal firms in Winston Salem on the day I met Jeremy. Each of those firms publicly advertise their commitment to being there in a person’s time of need, but Hartsoe and Associates was the only firm that stood behind this promise by way of JEREMY SWINDLEHURST.
