The Best, hands down Jeffrey Blick

He was awesome and took care of my traffic tickets!

I can explain my experience with Jeff as this: When I finally got the courage to leave my husband I was homeless for 6 months. I finally got a job and it took me almost a year to fix the damage to my finances but my ex kept making my life hell and I kept finding bills he never paid or bills in my name I never even knew about. I called lawyer after lawyer and they all would not even talk to me without a 200 dollar consultation fee- and even then they may not take my case. I called Jeff (I went to ECU and remember they had a lawyer for students and he was it). I was crying at this point and his amazing paralegal/secretary put me on hold and within minutes she made an appointment. I told him my story and he took my case. Not a lot of lawyers would have because I had no kids and the ex was hopping from couch to couch so it was difficult for us to get everything we needed. But he took it. They both were very supportive and pretty amazing. He always made me feel like he was on my side, and while he sucked at calling back, when he did it was quick and polite so he did not bill you for unneeded small talk. It was not a probono case but he never does family court and made an exception for me. During the divorce process it was difficult to get a hold of him but he would EVENTUALLY call you back. It may take a week but he would call you. I wrote a review about him before -because I was very frustrated. He never answers or returns calls and it would have quickly fixed any issues I had about the bill and would have made is easier to communicate during my case. BUT if you email him, he replies instantly and I learned that recently. He took a lot of extra steps but make sure you get your quote and hourly billing agreement in writing- not because he is a crook or changes his rates but because you should do that with any lawyer (I didn't know that and it would have made the billing part of this divorce easier at the end). You need to do this so you can understand your bill in the future and so there will no miscommunication about bill or quote given later. I did not do this so when I got my bill I needed to ask him questions but he did not call back and I kept getting more and more frustrated- 6 months went by and I FINALLY emailed him (and he told me repeatedly throughout my divorce process that this was the easiest way to get a hold of him but I forgot because it had been months since I had to communicate with him). I appreciate Jeff because I never had to see my ex and I got my divorce. When I got my bill though, it was higher than I expected because my ex made it cost more and because I did not understand the original quote (if it was anyone else I would say he told me the wrong thing but with Jeff being a good person I believe it was a communication error). My ex never showed up or signed like he was suppose to so Jeff had to take extra steps not initially in the quote given. That confused me when I got my bill and when I called and called (for 6 months) I never got a call back. Once I emailed him he replied within a few hours. Pros: Nice, polite, passionate, works hard, priced well Cons: Does not call back quickly/at all (email will fix that instantly) He is a pretty amazing person and I hate that I forgot that when I saw my bill. Sorry Jeff, reflecting and writing all the things you did for me, I realize I was a jerk.

Jeff Blick is by far "The Best" lawyer I have ever done business with. The lack of reviews shows that his clients are satisfied as"Happy Clients" don't often write reviews; however I felt obligated to once i stumbled across the negative review! Which I DO NOT BELIEVE .....I've known him for 3 years & he has NEVER lied to me nor has his given me bad or inadequate advice or PRICING....I strongly believe that negative review was from a client who misinterpreted information.... I know Jeff to be informative, accurate, diligent, and considerate towards all of his clients. Looking for a Lawyer your best bet is to Hire Jeff Blick! #HeRocks
