I was in a situation of domestic violence, retained an attorney who appeared to working on my behalf however, after months of mounds of paperwork and non-communication I needed to hire another attorney. The difference between day and night was apparent at the first phone call! The respect extended to me was so appreciated to say nothing of the timely manner that each and every correspondence and question was answered. I was able to speak with Mr. Irons directly which again was the difference between day and night. He and his staff are professional, caring and compassionate. Divorce under any circumstances is a most devastating and heart wrenching experience to say the very least for all parties involved. My marriage had been over for quite some time, I just did not know exactly what to do about it. I have use lawyers for companies that I have worked for in the past for various reasons. All of a sudden I needed one that I could trust and feel comfortable with. I first met Gib Irons at an Expo in Greenville, he did not hesitate to answer any question that I threw out at him. He and his assistant are very down to earth people, very easy to talk to. I think he had a gut instinct some of the questions were about me personally. I had never really needed a lawyer for myself before this. I spoke to two lawyers and decided I felt most comfortable with Mr. Gib Irons. He will tell you what you need to hear, what you don't want to hear, he is honest about the law, and he will give you your choices. He will tell you everything about the law concerning your case, but you have to make the decisions. He let me know that they were there to talk to me whenever I needed it. I know I gave this man one of the biggest headaches he had, had in awhile going back and forth. I was so upset one Friday, he called me on Saturday to work on the paperwork and get through it. He stuck it out with me, let me cry it out when I needed to, and we would pick up and go again. He is a man of high integrity, family oriented, and holds honesty extremely high.
