I emailed this office almost two weeks ago in great need of help/advice. The generated email statement said that they would be in contact within 2 business days. No email or phone call. I checked my spam and there was nothing. Whether you are in a small town or large city this is not how you should portray your business. You responded back that you received this... and your automated system said that my email was sent successfully. 🤔 You are able to respond back to this review, yet you didn't say that as soon as you have your internet/phone restored, you would be in touch. You also stated here that I sincerely hope you were able to find answers to your questions, meaning you were able to read my email that had my questions and concerns. Again, not a good way to treat the public.

Monica misinformed me on filing for child support and costed me thousands. I have an email to show that she gave me that wrong information. In the end she said if you needed it you would have filed for it. I asked her for a running bill after our first court date and she threatened to drop me as a client because of my request. It started out well until she took the roll as judge and jury. In the end she developed a God complex. She didn't represent me as we agreed upon prior to court. If you don't won't to burn money on an despicable attorney look elsewhere.

If I could give her a zero I would. She was a terrible parenting coordinator and actually increased the conflict. She lied under oath but thankfully, I had emails to show that she wasn’t being truthful. She made me drive an hour there and an hour back home to hand deliver papers to her secretary because she was too lazy to print the ones that I scanned and emailed back to her. Then when I dropped them off, I didn’t even see her face or speak with her and she charged me for a short conversation. Of course I just paid it because there was a power imbalance which I feel she extorted. The one and only appointment I had with her, she made me feel rushed (and told me she was because it was over the holidays) so I felt like I couldn’t relax to tell my side of things. Which didn’t matter because my ex talked to her first and she had a cold demeanor towards me from the very start. I sensed that I could not trust her. She hardly listened to me but then told me all about her own divorce/custody experience and told me that I should drop my protective order against my ex husband. Very inappropriate and unsolicited legal advice from a parenting coordinator. When it came down to it, she never met the children which I had asked her to from the very start. She blamed me for us not being able to co-parent because I had a DVPO against my ex. She refused to work with us separately. Then she accused me of alienation even though I sent her tons of records of my ex husband not letting me talk to our kids and records showing where he did talk to the kids at my house. I still can’t wrap my head around her behavior. Stay far, far away from this woman. I agree with your response. There’s your side and then there’s the truth.

Sharing something ultra personal in this review as a cautionary tale to others - a situation that rattles my faith in humanity. Caroline Knox was recommended to my father by his friend. My dad wanted to make some changes to his will (in my / my son's favor) and make sure the land contract would be fair to his side of the family. I know this because my dad and I discussed it. I also knew he had a will and he was in the process of making changes to it, because we discussed that, too. He was unhappy in his relationship and had considered getting out completely. He began working with Caroline Knox, and made the mistake of bringing his girlfriend in on the contract because he lived with her and they shared assets. The girlfriend avoided the meetings and wasn't cooperating. Dragging feet, so to speak. Now, question. Why would Caroline have allowed him to put the person who would lose part of his estate on the contract? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. But one thing about my dad was that whatever his foibles, he always tried to be fair-minded. And he also trusted people way too much. My father passed away suddenly in December and hadn't finalized anything. Instead of protecting his interests, Caroline represented his girlfriend in the settlement, and his kin (us) was left with tiddledywinks. The girlfriend claimed there was no will (NOT true,) and Caroline went along with that. It's clearly a conflict of interest and warrants a disciplinary complaint. I don't think I have the energy to pursue it - I'd prefer to let the situation go rather than go through more trouble and expense, but clearly this is something you should be aware of prior to working with this firm. I am not only incredibly sad about my father, I am also sad about Caroline Knox. I was really hurt that she didn't fight for his family at all, just laid down, rolled over and got her paycheck. Yuck.
