Straight forward and understanding

I highly recommend the services of King Law firm in Hickory and attorney Jaron Gurney in particular! My husband and I worked with Attorney Gurney as we pursued the custody of our granddaughter. He helped make a very sensitive experience easier to go through. Our case worker Chasta at King Law was also available whenever we had questions or concerns. They were honest and upfront about the steps involved and the time it may take. Every step was detailed on a weekly email that was sent out which helped cut cost so we would not have to call to make appointments unless necessary. My husband and I were awarded custody and Mr. Gurney even honored our wish that the mother could still have rights to her daughter. He showed care for our situation as well as hers. Working with King Law made this process easier.

Very very overpriced. See the attached bill. My case was very cut and dry. If your attorney consults another attorney regarding your matter, you get billed the higher rate. Be very careful unless you are prepared to pay at minimum $3k for a simple land dispute. Legal matters are expensive but this far more than I anticipated... they sent me a bill for an additional 220$ for a break down of services. These people will bleed you dry.. now its $280 bc Im waiting for the Bar Association to advise on the matter and they charge $60 a week late fee. Yes, weekly late fees.

King Law was prompt with my appointment, I was treated with respect and kindness. IF ever needing a lawyer again, I will definitely choose King Law!

Three weeks of holding my money is unacceptable. I definitely don't recommend Mr. Demery.

Horrible the guy didn't even know anything about what I came for he read the notes the bdc wrote...told it takes 7 years for expungement, my was 2015 it 2022! If they can't add I would not trust unprofessional scam artist...knew as soon as I walked in ...do not use them for any legal services... everyone has something to say but this guys are garbage see for yourself!!!!!!

I have Dealt with many law firms over the past 50 years. I am ninth generation Catawba County born and bred. I have owned several pieces of property in Catawba County for rent and have on many occasions needed an attorney to help intervene in sever situations.I would put this Law Firm easily in the top three.
