My custody matter was nothing short of contentious and stressful. When placed in a position of fear and uncertainty, you need an attorney who is understanding, truly listens, and is willing to fight for you and your child. April and Scott are 100% the attorneys you not only want, but absolutely need! They were always available to answer questions and they were both extremely understanding and truly listened to my concerns and helped me navigate one of the most difficult moments of my life. In the end, I got the results that I was looking for and remained the primary custodian of my daughter. I know for certain that if faced with a matter again in the future, there is zero question on what attorneys I will use. I truly trust them to take care of me and advocate for me and, more importantly, my daughter’s best interest. I cannot express enough to them my gratitude. April has represented twice and has done wonders for me. She is very professional and very straight up. She will tell you how it is and what she can or cannot do. April is a very kind and caring person and will do everything in her power to get u to the end and get everything possible. You have to be very honest with her so she can do her job if your not you will be failing yourself. I don’t care if it’s bad or good u have to put it all in the table. I’ve been very pleased and would definitely ask her to represent me in a third divorce if that day was to ever come.

We reached out to the law firm regarding a custody case where the child’s physical and emotional wellbeing was at risk. Initially we were pleased with the concern and assistance, yet when it came to the appointment they failed to inform us that our lawyer was not available and we would be meeting with someone else after making a 3 hr drive from out of state. Then following the appointment I was told I’d receive the retainer fee agreement by the end of the day but we never received it. We waited for it to be received Friday but it never came. After waiting through the weekend we had to call to request the fee agreement be send and we were told it hadn’t been done yet and would be sent over by the end of the day. After the lack of efficiency and timeliness we informed them we would feel more comfortable scheduling a second consultation with the assigned lawyer for the case, I was told they would call back to schedule the appointment that day. After 48 hours of waiting for a call back we reached out to them and we’re informed that they had forgotten to reach out and look at the lawyers calendar. Personally speaking if I’m willing to sign an agreement to pay someone $5K to represent me in court I would expect the communication to be up to par and that paperwork be turned around in a timely manner. But how can you trust a lawyer to file something for you when they can’t have the decency to return the phone call

April is a great lawyer. She will work hard for you and help your family. We could not have asked for a better person to look out for our best interest. She will see you through the whole process of which we knew nothing about when we started to look for a honest, and dependable lawyer. Who was not just in it for the money like most are.
