For 28 years I had been trying to get a clear answer to a real estate question and, thankfully, Mr. Love gave it to me though it was not what I wanted to hear. I wanted to know to whether I was legally obliged in NC to pay dues to a neighborhood association although neither my closing lawyer nor title insurance company had advised me that the property was included in when I bought my house. The builder had gifted the property to a nearby neighborhood association before apportioning, developing and selling a house and lot to the original home owner who subsequently lived in it for about five years. I bought the house and property from an intermediate owner of one month in succession who, in turn, did not inform me that the house and property were included in a neighborhood association when I bought it him. Short answer: Yes, to my chagrin (But NOT so in NY!).

Asked a question I couldn’t find an answer to on google just to make sure, and he got me a solid answer within only a few hours to my obscure little question. Gave me some incredible peace of mind knowing I’m not in the wrong for my decision. Thank you!

Mr.Love answered my question very promptly. I had searched and read everything I could find on the NC recovery act and could not find a answer. I had asked a Medicaid Estate Recovery Representative at the Raleigh office and she said she did Not know the answer !!! I'm still a little concerned that without insurance the state would require they be reimbursed if the home was lost because of fire or a natural disaster, since they have a lien on it.. And I would be liable ?? Thank you so much for your help in this matter.

Thank you Sir for the advice. The Judge expedited the eviction. I've never had to evict anyone legally before. I just give them a letter,( which is legal) however this young lady was trying so hard to stay and my house is a wreck.

Mr. Love seemed knowlegable about my question and gave me seemingly sound advise. When I asked a follow up question. He answered quickly and seemed to actually care about the out come of my dilemma.
