This past year has been full of surprises. Divorce being the biggest one of them. In disbelief I reluctantly started my search for a divorce attorney. Paying to interview each one while they assessed my situation and told me how they thought they could help me. I interviewed four before finally talking to and hiring Kenneth Harris @ Arnold & Smith, PLLC. He and his paralegal Brittany are the greatest duo out there! They listen, he doesn’t tell you what you want to hear, and they keep you informed in every last detail. THEY ARE FUNNY, personable, and just REAL. Leaving the future of your life in their hands actually felt right for me, and it should for you too. He really makes sure you understand everything before he moves on to the next steps or phase. Not always a pleasant phase, but he got me there and made sure I really knew what was going on. Whether I liked it or not, it was happening. So he made sure I was ready for it. This was the single most stressful event in my life, so I know I wasn’t an easy person to deal with. I was a roller coaster of emotions and honestly, probably hard headed sometimes too. But Ken & Brittany understood that and still managed to keep me sane through the entire process. I think what impressed me the most (and kind of scared me in the beginning) Ken had never dealt with Lincoln County. They are a little slower paced at things and definitely run a bit different than a larger county with an updated system. But Ken and Brittany didn’t let that affect anything we had to get done. They figured it out, figured out how to navigate the way Lincoln county worked and they made it happen. For me. Thank you Ken & Brittany! Leaving my future in your hands was the best decision I have could have ever made. You two are amazing and I can’t thank you enough!
