I recently had a Will prepared for me and I really didn’t know what to expect with the process, cost, what to include and what not. However, I had a great experience with Attorney Jake Edwards who first did a consultation with me and was able to answer all of my questions. After our consultation, his suggestion was to have a will prepared instead of the more expensive route of trusts. Not only did he let me know what was necessary but also what wasn’t necessary. He didn’t try to up sell me on anything and he made sure that I was keenly aware of the process every step of the way. Also, he didn’t rush me which was important and took his time. When it came time for me to sign my will, he went over everything again and pointed out some things to be aware of and what to do in certain situations. He again answered all of my questions, made great suggestions and made sure that I was comfortable with the final draft before signing. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my experience with Stott Hollowell. The entire staff was very professional, worked in a timely manner and above all, they earned my trust.

I'm not the type of person to let anyone handle my personal business. I like doing all myself and having that control. Jake Edwards handled my mom's estate/probate process after she passed. He made it very easy to let go, because he seemed to stay on top of it. He guided me through the whole process, and had answers to ALL my questions/concerns. I rarely leave feedback about anything, but this is one of those instances where I feel like I need to share my experiences! When we walked into Jake Edward's office in March of this year, my fiance and I we were in a desperate situation after running into problem after problem while trying to navigate through the nightmare of handling my fiance's late father's estate! My fiance had been given Admistrator responsibilties for the estate and we were up against deadlines of which we knew were impossible to meet, and were on the verge of legal ramifications that had us in what could best be described as a panic attack that was growing worse by the minute.. After meeting with Jake that day, we both felt like a ton of worry had been lifted off of us. It didn't take us long to figure out that this young attorney knew exactly how to get us out of the mess we were in and that he could take care of it for us, and that's exactly what he did and that is why I wanted to say.. 5 stars just don't seem to be enough for the way he handled things for us, so I want to say it here..THANK YOU. You and your firm done an amazing job for our family!!!

I have just recently moved to Gaston County and had Stephen Hegedus handle a foreclosure purchase closing for me. He and Dona Carey handled the entire process with great attention to detail and professionalism. Being a Real Estate broker, I have had many experiences with real estate attorneys. Stott, Hollowell, Windham & Stancil, PLLC is top notch! I would use them again for my own needs and refer them to my clients and colleagues.

I got refered to this office many years ago by a family member who said that their service was second to none. I started out with James handling some legal paperwork for me then was turned over to Stephen Hegedus. Stephen has been outstanding to us with all our legal issues and questions along with some title work. He is a pleasure to work with and tells it how it is with the best option for the best outcome for you. Then we got to meet Mirsada Kanwisher to have a will and testament done and she was nothing but professional and got us taking care of with us in mind. So far this has really been nothing but a great experience for us to be able to reach out to anyone and everyone at this office and be treated like they have you covered in any situation.
