Less than stellar performance. Had to do some of the leg work. Poor communication throughout.

Very easy to work with and the whole office staff was amazing and very friendly. No matter what the question was they always had a answer right away or called me back within the hour. We ended up at mediation and Kevin ( The Attorney ) was very down to earth and easy to talk with for the hours we had to spend in a office together. - Let's hope you never need a attorney and have to go this route but if you do I highly recommend using this group.

I first contacted the Law Office of Oliver and Cheek, LLC, in May, 2020, to retain assistance with several crucial errors on my credit report. Ms. Greene was initially very responsive and after hearing the details, agreed to assist me with correcting these errors. I promptly released the other attorneys that I had contacted on hold. These were not complicated credit issues, but false reporting issues, as the credit report errors were not even my own accounts. I had disputed them all myself, multiple times, to the major credit bureaus, to no avail. Imagine my surprise when the secretary finally contacted me again, over a week past the arrangement date. She was very confused and had none of the correct information previously given, nor apologized for the delay. Ashley, the secretary, also demanded a large sum of money that had been waived in the previous conversation with Ms. Greene to reassess at a later time. After several telephone calls in one day, insisting on keeping my appointment, and supplying my address and email for the 3rd time, I called Ms. Greene on our scheduled time at 4:00 pm. Not only was she confused about our previous conversation, but SCREAMING children were so unruly by her phone, that she was unable to hear me. The children were deafening! I had to hold the phone out from my ear and informed Ms. Greene that I could NOT conduct business with screaming children and could absolutely NOT and WOULD not scream over them! Ms. Greene rudely stated that “she changed her mind and wouldn’t be taking my case!” I was beyond speechless! In addition, Ms. Greene was dishonest when she stated that the secretary was on another line in the phone call! Ashley was NOT, because I addressed Ashley when the mistake of my mailing address was confronted, and she did not respond! I have not encountered this level of unprofessionalism, disorganization, blatant dishonesty, shirking of irresponsibility, miscommunication, unstableness, unpreparedness, disrespect, and cloaked hostility from any attorney in this life! Perhaps the “School of Law” they attended was called “KMart!” If they treat a DOCTOR like this, how do they treat the average citizen? This was a terribly disappointing experience!

Mrs Yancey helped me out of and emergency situation on a last minute call in on a short time frame to get it done when the others said it couldn't and had me doubting it could be done myself proved them all wrong and got me filed and saved me from losing my home . The whole firm was very professional and helpful and I will recommend them too anyone who needs a law firm to get them through one of the hardest things you have to do (bankruptcy) they definitely get a 10 out 5 from me .
