Got myself in a bind and had so many problems with tryna get my license back and handled and all and this so called lawyer b stringin me along for ride and dont do nothin he say stg hire him at your own risk imma say fr fr dont drive wit your license revoked you might b scammed by lawyers out here tryna make you rite and he all about the dollar bill he aint workin for

Do not hire this firm, by any means. I paid them about 2500 just to get a Dvpo order corrected that had wrong information on it. 2 yrs later and he has done nothing!! I never received any correspondence in the mail, no texts, no messages, no updates. I went for weeks waiting to hear something so I call office and get voicemail that's full. Same with his wife's voicemail. The few times I did get thru, bc they wouldn't call me, they sent me a bill for 150.00 an hr for calling them. I had no choice!!! Then they tell me they took the Dvpo case as a courtesy. They must have forgot I paid them. I filed the Dvpo and Lee let them kick me out of my house and let my husband, who pointed a pistol at me and said he would kill me, got the house, and this has been dragging along for 2 yrs!!! I was beginning to think he was taking my husband's side and he may have been since he's a domestic violence attorney, but got arrested for assaulting his wife! I had to do my own work to take care of the Dvpo. I was nothing to them bc I didn't have enough money. I regret ever stepping foot in that door. Beware!!!

You are not a client of the bettis law firm. New Bern aware was an organization I started which saved NewBerns waterfront and allowed me to be Mayor of this great town. Since then I founded Realize U 252 a fully operational non profit housing recovering addicts. When you are a public figure you will always have detractors and cowardly anonymous reviewers.

Insane that Bettis states hes the founder of New Bern AWARE, a group organized to protect the city's waterfront access rights. When he moved to a community a couple years ago and built a fence completely blocking the entire community's residents from the riverfront access. A waterfront access they were given by the developer, almost 60 years ago. When push back was given from the community, he sued them. Shameful.

He did more than I expected any lawyer to do. Thank you to You and your staff. You were willing to work with me and defend My case. To anyone looking to hire an attorney my advice to you is stop reading social media and pay attention to results. Dont allow social media to dictate your future, hiring attorney who fights like attorney Lee Bettis and his staff.

Irresponsible, very unorganized, rude, he's a criminal himself… and doesn’t care about anything. He will rob you of your money…

Lee has helped me handle traffic citations and actually recommended another lawyer for in a specific instance that he thought would be better. Lee is gregarious, great to work with, and has been successful in handling all matters I’ve brought to him.
