Gillespie & Murphy, P.A helped my husband and I 10 years ago through a very difficult time in our lives. I highly recommend this firm to anyone. Our plan was satisfied over 5 years ago. Last week we again found ourselves faced with complications regarding our actions 10 years ago by a banking institution not accepting the completed outcome or accepting ongoing commitments. Mr. Patrick Riley assisted us from the New Bern Office and Wilmington Office. As all members of Gillespie & Murphy, he was kind and professional in dealing with the situation. He was very patient and a great listener! I highly recommend him. Gillespie & Murphy, P.A. are Lawyers for Christ and their mission statement proves that. The true fruit of their labor is in deeds not just words!

From the first contact made for a consultation up to the filing of our case, we were given such close attention, professionalism, and patience. Lindsay Parker provided our consultation and she gave us all the information about what options were available to us, and the pros and cons of those choices. Carol Jones did all the legwork to get our petition compiled. She was kind, respectful, knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. I had many questions along the way, and she was always prompt to respond to my emails. She worked very quickly to get our petition ready for the attorney to review. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this group of people!

We filed Chapter 13 approximately 7 years ago. Carol Jones was our caseworker, and Alan Murphy was our lawyer. Carol was efficient, thorough, and explained the process so we could understand it. She took the time to listen to our questions and concerns and addressed them all. When I needed an answer, I could always call her, and she did not make me feel like I was bothering her. She was extremely knowledgeable, and we never had to call the lawyer directly because she always had the answer to our questions. She was pleasant and easygoing, and made us feel like we had made the right decision. (And indeed we had). She made us feel like valued clients, and helped us get through the embarrassment of having to file in the first place. I would highly recommend this firm!
