If your lawyer starts ignoring your phone calls its probably because he's given up on your case but doesn't have the balls to speak to you. 2 weeks of no return phone calls and then finally I get a letter in the mail telling me simply that they've declined my case. I guess they only take cases that are home runs.

I found this firm at the last minute.Chris Venters handled my case.We talked a day before court and the day of court even though he couldn't take it at that moment being last minute he advised me very thorough. My case got pushed back so we met with him.Let me just say from the time you walked in the door everyone was courteous and attentive. We felt very welcome and at ease there. Chris will be our man if we ever have future cases that they can take on. Thanks Stubbs and Perdue!

This is specifically regarding Katherine Fountain for divorce. You need to hire her before your spouse does, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE UNDER 40. She is extremely responsive and will work hard under any circumstances to get the best outcome for her client. She e-mails quickly and returns phone calls. She is dependable. I was against her for a divorce I initiated, and I think if I had went with her my life would have been a LOT easier. The reason for 4 stars is that she is on the same program as all the other lawyers in the ENC and probably everywhere: spend your retainer then go to mediation, Obviously, the best situation is to just get a settlement agreement by consent vs initiating contested proceedings.
