Mr. Brinkley and his practice have been the most helpful team I could have hoped for. He is a great lawyer with a clear understanding of Wake County court proceedings. He helped me understand what to expect and what would be required for every step of the legal process. I felt involved and aware the entire time. Despite my court date being drawn out by the court for over 2 years, he was up to date and in contact with me throughout and the end result was the best possible scenario. Definitely one of those "hope to never need him again, but glad I know who to call in the future" type of scenarios. Cannot recommend him enough.

Things don’t always work out the way you hope. unfortunately the law against men in domestic violence cases is one of those case, I was Falsely accused of domestic assault from an ex girlfriend whom I lived with. Her hopes were to ruin my life as she felt I had done her wrong in some way. Mr Brinkley was always responsive and available for my questions. He told me what he suggested from his years of dealing with the same cases without necessarily pushing me in one direction or the other. He negotiated to get me the best possible resolution in the scenario I was in. which unfortunately is “ how the sausage is made” in an incredibly sexist subsection of the law. Thanks Mr Brinkley
