Anytime one needs a defense lawyer, one is in a place of stress or weakness. My case was no different–I needed help, and could offer no expertise of my own to untangle my situation. But the one decision I made was to hire Mr. Frickey as my lawyer. And that one choice turned out to be an excellent one. He dug into my case, explored it, until he found the soft spots in the state's charge. He stuck with it for years, deftly balancing continuances, false starts, motions and periodic meetings with me (for clarification on an issue, or simply to keep me well informed). In the end, he obtained a motion that essentially wiped my case off the docket in Superior Court. But even if we'd gotten an irascible or unimaginative judge, I would still be writing this positive review. He gave me the greatest shot (expertise, insight, perseverance, patience and no small amount of tension-reducing humor) in one of the lowest moments of my life. I'm sure he'll do the same or more for others.

Attorney Michael A. Frickey was highly recommended to me after I had some traffic violations that needed legal counsel. I contacted Mr. Frickey by phone and email and was impressed for him to personally respond not only the same day but with in an hour of my inquiry. I was very unsure of what would happen and expected the worst. I paid him a small fee and sent all of the information he needed. He made me feel like I had nothing to worry about and was very helpful and knowledgeable about traffic offenses and how to defend them. The next two weeks I had corresponded with him several times and was always treated with respect and felt at ease with what he was going to do with my cases. The first traffic case was dismissed with no cost or court fees. The second case against me was more difficult but Mr. Frickey did not give up and went to court for me until he got the best result. I have had the pleasure to work with Mr. Frickey for the past past 6 months on a very tricky criminal case. He advised and always consulted with me to find out exactly what I wanted to do first before he made any moves on my behalf. I was so impressed with him when we took the case to trial. He had information that directly mirrored my case, making it almost impossible for the Judge not to dismiss my charges. I thank him today for his patience,knowledge of the case, without his expertise I would have been dead in the water. Mike is a very capable and competent attorney. Mike met with us in a timely manner to attain the documentation necessary to defend the directors. He is very professional, friendly, and most important, an extremely good listener. He answered all of our questions to our satisfaction, which left all the directors feeling very comfortable using him to represent us. Also, during the litigation process, via email or by phone, when we had questions, he answered us promptly and to our satisfaction again. Best thing that came out of this litigation, is that the case was decided in our favor and the judge ordered the HO A to indemnify each director, which meant we did not have to pay out-of-pocket , his attorney fees. I must say his attorney fees are very reasonable. I definitely would use Mike again if such a need would arise. He is great to work with.
