Today i had court and was my first time had no idea what I was doing or what route I should take.but this kind hearted attorney Tyler Ellemming stood up for me in the court and talked for me.he saw I didn’t know what to do and was nervous and gave me direction. He stood beside through the process when he didn’t have too nor being paid for his services.what could had been a stir ust ion that could have ended worse for me ended becoming the situation I could had been in all because of him he knew exactly what he was doing and I advise anyone to look for him if you ever need an attorney.

I contracted with D&A in February to have an expired registration and FTA in court dismissed. I was told to expect a 6 to 8 week timeline to resolve the issue. Not only did they fail to inform me at all about an issue with payment (delayed all progress for weeks), they epically failed to meet the projected timeline (+several weeks, not including payent issue time loss), there was absolutely no communication about any roadblocks. Eventually, I had to start requesting updates. I have over 30 emails in the same thread of them giving me the run around. I was told over and over again, after a simple request for an update, that they are having difficulty with ecourt, and it was *heavily* implied that they had no policy or instruction about how to proceed in ecourt scenarios for at least a month. This did the *opposite* of inspiring confidence. 2 weeks *after* they claimed they had a meeting w the DA to resolve a plethora of cases including mine, I received a hostile phone call from Dement (JR, i assume) himself because I dared to ask how long after the meeting I could expect to be able to get my license restored and expressed (without vulgarity or personal insult) my displeasure with the lack of communication. To paraphrase, he claimed this lack of communication was standard for the industry. I also called the DA's office that day (16th of May, same day of but before the phone call) and they said that my case had not even been scheduled, though I don't have strong faith that is accurate given the general inconsistencies of dealing with the court system. I *DO* know that the copy of the dimisal I finally got today, after biting the bullet and outright asking for a other update (first since Dement phone call) was submitted/filed etc on the 17th of May, the day after the Dement phone call (16th). I did not receive notice of resolution until today (22nd of May), and I had to outright ask for an update to get a copy of the dismissal. Given that I was (rudely) informed via the Dement phone call that they would update me as soon as it was resolved, I cannot help but feel the 5 day delay in informing me was retaliation for my putting pressure on D&A (again, after their failing to meet the timeline). My only point of contact with D&A prior to the phone call from Dement himself was a paralegal. This whole experience was horrid. I was recommended to D&A by a family member who had associated with them in the past, and had a positive experience. My relative, upon hearing of my experience, hinted strongly that this could be the result of a change in management from Sr to Jr (I will leave the family name in question out of this out of respect to Sr) after Sr's retirement. I highly doubt anyone from my family will use D&A again, given this experience. Edit for spelling
