Charles and his team are friendly, efficient and get things right the first time. When I first hired him, he warned me that “if a, b, and c seem to be happening, we need to be ready for situations x, y and z.” Fortunately, those difficulties didn’t occur, and my divorce was much more amicable than I expected. In later parts of the process, my soon-to-be-ex and I agreed that Charles should prepare some of the documents that normally would be prepared by the other attorney. As I said, Charles got things right the first time; my ex’s attorney, not so much.

Mr. Ullman is the absolute best divorce attorney in the state of North Carolina. He helped me through the entire process and explained every step along the way. He argued for, and obtained better than expected results, and allowed me to pick up the pieces of my life and move on after going through a quick, tough divorce.

I hired Charles Ullman to represent me in my case against my abusive high conflict ex. During the consultation Charles said all the right things to make me feel supported and that he would fight for me. Once he had the retainer, he brushed off my ex's bad behavior and did not do what he could to protect my daughter. His fees mounted very quickly as you pay dearly for his time then have to repeat everything to his assistant, essentially paying twice. It appeared to me that he was going through the motions for the paycheck and didn't have his heart in it. I left his practice after approximately 3 months and am much more satisfied with my current attorney.

My case was particularly painful and a little bit scary at times. Everyone I worked with was kind and helpful and I'm happy to say that I am now a divorcée (without incident). A big thank you to everyone at the firm for their help.
