The attorney and paralegal that worked my child support case, very timely with communicating with me about my case. This is a BIG deal since I currently work overseas. Handled my case with urgency.

2 years ago, I got a speeding ticket 84 in a 60 zone and it was justified. I had just traded a Mini for a new Kia Soul and I honestly had no idea how fast I was going! I went through an attorney referral site and was matched with Matthew Faucette. We handled everything by phone and email. I signed the paperwork and sent the money. He assured me he would have it dismissed. Then I waited...and waited...and waited. Absolutely no communications whatsoever. I emailed. I called. Finally after several months he told me that he would contact me when it was resolved, that he was busy with "important" clients. (I have the emails!) I received a really high insurance bill. I called Matt yet again and he told me it had all been resolved and all I needed to do was pay court cost. I told him about the insurance bill so he said he would look into it. About a month later he told me there was an error with the clerk of courts and he had fixed it. The insurance stayed high. So, I did the research and paid for a driving report from the DMV. It showed 3 points on my record! I contacted Matt again (please note that at no time has he initiated contact except to ask for money). He said he would double check with the clerk. Then told me it was all fixed. It is 2 years later and still not taken care of. I emailed Matt again but this time no response at all. I have spent 2 days on the phone and 2 in person going back and forth from the clerk of courts and the DMV. I understand that my little case was not that important when compared to defending a kidnapper but the lack of interest, professionalism, and follow through has cost me hundreds in insurance premiums along with continuous aggravation. I do have every email for proof.

So I just cold called Chris out of the blue was surprised I actually got a lawyer on the phone without having to go through a secretary or call service. So Chris answered my phone call and talked to me like a normal person. Really down to earth answered my questions and gave me the advice I needed. He told me what I needed to do and that it would be a better route then hiring his firm. I’ll be calling back if I ever need a good lawyer.

I want to thank Stephanie Santillan and Attorney Texler for helping me clear my 17 yr old son traffic citation. He was involved in a simple lane change vehicle accident, but the police officer who investigated the accident, charged my son with reckless driving and wonton driving, which was ridiculous! The team I mentioned at Matheson law firm kept me abreast of his case without me having to appear with my son, and most importantly, got the case dismissed. No extra charges or court fees!
