I needed a new attorney immediately! I found Alex online and when I read his bio I felt he was the guy for me. Once we met and talked I discovered I was right! He learned my case in a matter of hours, communicated great and took control of it. He went out of his way to help and support me and was very honest with proposed outcome worse case/best case. I trusted him completely! My outcome was better than I thought it could have been and it was only due to his efforts.

Back in early 2019 I was arrested for DWI. I was a little uneased because I felt the stop was inappropriate, however, once I went to court I realized the seriousness of the charge. I was able to get a state attorney at that time which was Alex Marshall. It took only a day of reviewing the police camera for Alex to determine my defense, a "No Probable Cause" stop. COVID hit the county and the courts shut down but Alex remained in constant communication with me. He had no problems returning text messages or returning phone calls. Because Alex was such an astute, professional individual he did his research and continued my court case until he felt we received the right judge. In the court room the DA compared other cases to mine, through out facts and conclusions of other cases similar to mine, she did her job. Alex, being the professional he is studied other cases, presented facts and was able to stand his ground and won my case. Even though I don't plan to get in any more trouble, I will recommend his services to anyone that ask me and will continue to use him myself if need be. Thanks again Alex!

A criminal defense attorney with HEART, teeth and tenacity I had a stereotype about lawyers. But J. Alex Marshall proved it all wrong in the first five minutes of speaking. His professional attributes are impressive, but he gave me a glimpse of his core values. It reminded me of my family. Mr. Marshall responded to my inquiry for a criminal defense lawyer in a timely manner, but the timing was bad. He got unexpected news of a serious emergency in his family. So, he left a message about the situation and asked me to call the next business day. I’m the worst client. I didn’t listen to his message. I just called back a half hour later, after business hours, completely unaware and started telling my business..... Not only did he listen, he educated me and made it clear that my matters were a priority. I could breathe easier, even though our conversation lasted only 4 minutes because he was AT THE HOSPITAL WITH HIS FAMILY. His staff was on point with the paperwork, and Mr. Marshall discussed everything with me on a first name basis. His tenacity showed, too. He was the one calling ME to explain things and/or ask questions. (And he never reached me on the first try). I really felt like family. A defendant’s day in court is not comfortable. That’s another stereotype Alex dispelled. I watched him interact with colleagues and justice officials in such a way that the courtroom kind of felt like a community. There was courtesy, even smiles, while court business was handled. Sitting confidently before the judge was no problem. I smiled when my case was disposed with a desired outcome. I admit it. I labeled attorneys as righteous big-shots who’ll take your money without so much as a conversation, for a verdict that’s non-negotiable and probably not even favorable. I know now that an attorney can have heart, with teeth and tenacity. J. Alex Marshall stood up for me, guiding me through the process and ensuring my best interest. He treated me like family. I am so glad I hired him.
