I got a speeding ticket (21 mph over) and contacted Cotten Law to handle it for me. They had the most competitive rates. The person I spoke with on the phone was friendly and helpful and explained everything for me. My outcome was very favorable (no points on my license or insurance! But im sure was due to my decent driving record). Overall good experience. **Update**: the ticket is still seen on my record and is negatively affecting my insurance, though I was told it wouldn't. I recently applied for an insurance policy, and lo and behold, the speeding ticket was seen by the insurer and has thusly negatively affected my insurance rates, so not sure what the attorney or "prayer for judgment"did for my insurance rates....

The Cotten Law Firm represented me with two tickets: speeding and reckless driving. I’m not from NC and I didn’t know where to find the right lawyer to represent me. I didn’t have time to google or check reviews or make appointments to talk to lawyers in person. I went by a recommendation I received from a coworker. When I called the office, I talked to a knowledgeable woman and I immediately felt a “peace of mind” as my case was discussed and dissected. I was reassured that they will do their best to reduce and make sure no points was applied to my license and insurance. I received the email today that my charge was “reduced”, reckless driving “dismissed” and “no points applied to my license and insurance”!!! Plus, I didn’t have to take off work!?!? Winning!

Very easy and convenient way to take care of speeding ticket. They handled everything, so I did not have to take off from work. In the end I did not have any effects on my insurance or license points. I would definitely recommend them for minor driving infractions.

I have never to use a traffic lawyer and I call this guys I believe for $86 dollars + the court cost was ok I call this lady Ashley to tell her that this cop did a mistake when the cop pull me over but she said the there is nothing they can do, i offer to take some pictures to see if the court date this can help me on this case but I guess not so if you are looking for not to be at the court this guys can help with that.

I used Cotten Law Firm to handle my son's ticket -- two within a month. The second came in while Cotten was working on the first ticket. Cotten Law Firm handled everything, interacted with the court system and got me an outcome with no insurance points. This was money well spent and we didn't have to do anything. Not even the court date. I hope my son has learned his lesson, but if something comes up again I will definitely use Cotten Law Firm.
