Cate has been amazing with staying on top of this lawsuit for the past 6 years! We sued the government for violating the ADA rights which was not an easy feat. Appeal after appeal, she remained positive, confident and upbeat. No other attorney would take on the challenge. Cate did not hesitate with aggressively pursuing all parties involved. I felt like she was completely vested professionally and emotionally. Unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to meet her as she made the process seamless and efficient working via email and phone. Catharine Edwards was my lawyer during a case of wrongful termination by a company I received top review scores in. As an LGBT man I was hard pressed to find a lawyer who would take the time to meet. After the initial intake interview, she called me with news that she was going to proceed. Not only was I elated knowing I did not have to fight this battle alone, I felt validated that a professional of her caliber saw the truth in my case. Extremely knowledgable in Labor Law she guided me legally through the process and personally helping me set expectations with my family and providing me with as much information as I need prior to each decision that had to be made. At the end of the day, I was less afraid to return to the workforce because of the work, consulting and leadership she provided.

I was fired suddenly for not being able to do my job because I was recovering from surgery. My entire self identity had been tied to what I did; my pride, being able to provide for my family. All of it. After I was fired, I got depressed. I even tried a few different lawyers but no one wanted my case. I finally found Cate and Sharon and they heard me. When they told me that they were taking my case, I'll admit I cried. It was a relief to know that I wasn't crazy, that I had some recourse and I had people truly behind me for once. My depression lifted and we fought back! They held my hand truly but most of all, they gave me back something that was taken when I was fired. Belief that there were still good people in the world.
