In asking to write a testimonial for the services of Fanney Law Office, PLLC, I can unequivocally state I made an astronomical misjudgment of choosing this legal service provider. On July 9, 2016 I was served with a Domestic Violence Protection Order. The event in question happened on July 6, 2019 and a police report was filed. There was absolutely no evidence to support the claim. I asked for the Police Report three times with the Law Office of Mr. Fanney because the Raleigh Police would not provide me with a copy. To this day I still do not know what is in the Police Report. I went to court on July 18, 2019 believing the charge would be dismissed. Mr. Fanney was late for court by over 30 minutes. When Mr. Fannney arrived in court he did not ask for a motion to dismiss. Instead, he and the plaintiff came to the agreement without me being in the conversation that the Ex-parte would be extended an additional sixty days. On September 18, 2009 I was sent an “Upcoming Event” Notice by the Fanney Law Office stating I was to appear in court on September 20, 2019. When I arrived in court I waited Mr. Fanney. Role was called by the Judge and Mr. Fanney still had not appeared. The Judge asked who I was when I told her I did not hear my name called and gave her Mr. Fanney’s name as my attorney. The Judge told me the case had been dismissed by the Plaintiff. By Mr. Fanney not being in the courtroom with me does not make me feel safe when it comes to relying on legal representation from this office. Especially after agreeing to pay $2,500.00 in court fees. In my opinion, by Mr. Fanney not appearing with me shows little ethics after taking my money. I feel this matter should be addressed the legal ethics board.

Mister Fanney took my case pro bono being that the cops are trying to charge me with having marijuana when it was actually hemp. I highly appreciate and support his Law Firm 100% staff is very professional and really quite nice. I recommend him for everybody's case!!!

My wife walked in the Wake County Court and met a Lawyer from Fanny Law. After speaking with him about the ticket and how we wanted it off our insurance and to have it dismissed, he said he would take care of everything for us. All said and done we get our letter stating "We pleaded guilty and we owe the court its court costs. The Firm did nothing for us, we couldn't do ourselves. We thought we'd let a professional handle this, but he ended up dropping the ball...big time. Go elsewhere.
