I have been using John Fanney since the year 2001. I have used other local attorneys as well so I have a good frame of reference, and I can say I have always been taken good care of when using Mr. Fanney. Whether criminal or traffic, felony or misdemeanor, I have never been over-promised anything like some law offices do, the outcome always at least what it should be, and quite regularly the outcome has been better than expected, including my most recent case(and he has handled quite a few charges, somewhere between 10-12). I have recommended several friends and a few family members to use Mr. Fanney and they have always had good experiences and thanked me for the recommendation. Unfortunately, our criminal justice system is difficult and unpleasant to navigate but there is nobody else I would trust more with my freedom.

Mr. Fanney was very professional upon first meeting. He requested multiple continuances, but only fore-warned me about the first one, so I came into town multiple times for court dates I didn't need to. However, he capably got me the outcome I was looking for: a quick class and all my charges were dropped. Can't complain about that!

I hired John Fanney close to a year ago and was sure of him by the way he presented himself. John and I talked the case over just before we went to trial. While talking it over I begin to doubt that I would be found not guilty considering the evidence. When trial started, it all started to turn around. It was like watching great entertainment that you don't actually want to be apart of. John was quick and hit on points that we originally did not think of. He shines bright in the clutch, but also prepares himself well. A true Perry Mason in what he specializes. I was found not guilty of DWI and highly satisfied. I would highly recommend John Fanney to anyone that has been charged of DWI/DUI etc.

The most important thing you can do at this point is hire the best person to represent you and if you're in Raleigh that is is John Fanney. John is the perfect mix of honest, gentle, yet will fight hard for your case. Anytime I needed anything John and his office were responsive and he always made sure I felt comfortable with our next steps. He dumbed down the lawyer-speak for me to understand what was going on in court and the entire legal process. It took over 16 months but my case was dismissed. No other lawyer I spoke with in my research would have made that happen. He is worth every penny.

I had a situation that needed to be handled within 30 days and Mr. Fanney was the man for the job. My son and I were scheduled to leave out of the country, but was denied his passport due to an unknown warrant for his arrest in NC. This information was received a little over 30 days prior to our departure and needed this resolved as soon as possible. I live in SC and Mr. Fanney was referred to me by my family lawyer. From the beginning Mr. Fanney and his paralegal Lindsay have been extremely helpful in this process. They jumped on our case the first day that they were contacted and they truly gave a me a piece of mind. They researched our case and had the DA to dismiss the case one week prior to leaving for our vacation. I was able to expedite my son's passport and received it in a timely manner. My experience with John...Well, I researched him online and gave his firm a call. Needless to say, his legal team is amazing! Shout out to Tia!
