I had a consultation with Ms. Poore in which I first gave her my background and then let her know I have some questions to ask in determining whether this firm could represent me specific to my needs (because you know, family law views every case as the same as they only see in black and white with their check box templates). I made sure to ask the hardest questions first and within a few minutes it became very clear based on her responses that this firm has no experience with High Conflict Divorce especially with regards to NPD. With each question, she first returned with "what's that?", "what do you mean"? She didn't even know what NPD was until I actually spelled it out for her to which she responded: "yeah yeah" I have experience with [that]." Her tone shifted as I continued to ask questions about her experience with this topic and I was able to see right through the phone that she became annoyed and had a very elementary view on what HCD means. This topic has been on a slow rise over the last decade or so, and so very few attorneys across the country has awareness and are far from being on the bandwagon. Should I dare say that some may even have awareness but prefer to ignore it, contributing to the already severely broken family law system. In any case, I ended my 1 hour consultation right at the 30 minute mark (losing of course half my consultation fee). The extra star is because she did try to retain her professionalism and politeness during the call.

Not worth the price and did not live up to reviews. I was recommended by 3 different professionals to a particular lawyer, whom was not availabile, and I should have walked away not only then, but the additional two times my interaction with their staff was not positive. If they sense you are unhappy they will change their tune, but overall , they have their stance from jump about your case and will do little to rise against whatever the states tide is. I wanted lawyers who were not money hungry, and who believed in my story my story and would fight ferociously for myself and my daughter. And if they didnt believe in my stance then they shouldve never agreed to represent me. Not all files were obtained in time, last minute fees were charged or billed to me (knowing im a single mother and with court around the corner) demanding funds before work was even done alnd threatening not to represent you (for not being paid for work not yet done). They also cease communication abruptly and for weeks at a time. Lots of errors happened in court that they didnt even try to correct in themoment. Nw i have to eat a loss and pay an insane amount of money to ppl who never cared about the custody battle itself. Also, not talking about retainer fee, that is indeed common sense.

Patrick Williams consulted with me and agreed to handle the matter on my behalf.  The experience I had with Atty. J. Patrick Williams and his staff was one of the most professional, thorough, proficient, and expedient processes I have experienced with an organization.  The client care was superior, an A+ standard of service, and of the highest level of integrity.  Attorney J. Patrick Williams has an extensive knowledge of the law and served me, his client, in an exceptional manner.  I was more than pleased with the seamless manner in which Atty. Williams and the Staff, especially and including Ms. Smart, Paralegal, assisted me with resolving the personal matter.  Should a need arise in the future for his or the firm's services, I have no hesitation to make a call to their office.  Batch, Poore & Williams, PC is a rare find, and the organization maintains a high standard of conducting business.  Attorney J. Attorney Kevin Huston helped me out several years ago when I was facing a difficult situation and could not find someone that was knowledgeable in the multiple areas where I needed help. He was the only attorney that I contacted who was willing to try and help me sort things out. He helped me figure things out and in so doing, he changed the course of my life. He also did it with kindness and compassion. I will be forever grateful to him for this. He is an excellent attorney!! I would recommend him to anyone!!

This was my first time dealing with a landlord/tenant issue. William was very helpful right from the start. He had read over our lease, and was prepared before our first conversation. He explained exactly what and how I needed to move forward in order to terminate my lease. It was a very sensitive landlord/tenant relationship, and William made me comfortable with my decision. I would highly recommend him for any legal consult, advice, etc. When I am ready to do this again, I will contact William first!

An absolute waste of time and energy with Jimmy Hart and his team. Never returned calls or inquiries and was late for the scheduled 15 minute initial consultation...that they scheduled! The real kicker....after waiting a week, they referred to someone else. Class act! Don't waste your time with this guy. My time is just as valuable as Jimmy's time! Mr Hart, In response to your response (3 weeks after mine) below. Please review your system and records. My daughter, not me, did have a "scheduled consultation" after her child was born that you were late for. I firmly believe if I had not called your service to see why the delay, you would have never contacted her. And like I mentioned, referring someone else should've happened when the call was initially scheduled weeks prior. I firmly stand by my initial review. Wasted time... When I originally sought out legal advice, I spoke to many of consul but, no one got back to me at an ample time or showed the interest I thought was sufficient as representation. When I spoke with William and his team I immediately knew I was in good hands from then on. Williams specifically took his time to make sure he understood the complexity of my situation before he took my case and spoke with reason and thoughtful consideration to the next steps I should take in the case. I also felt that when he was working on my case that we were on the same page in terms of what I wanted out of the situation rather than what he could do with my limited budget. When dealing with my situation I felt like the little guy going against a big company and I that I didn't have much a chance. With working with William, I felt in control and confident and my situation was solved in a timely and amicable manner. I would highly recommend working with William and would I would not hesitate in hiring him as consul in the future if need be.

I have consulted with William twice over the past three years to learn more about landlord/tenant laws in NC. I have two late paying tenants and William provided me on both occasions with excellent advice on what my legal options are. He's very professional and I intend on using his services in the future should the need arises. I recommend his services.

I'm an attorney and colleague of Mr. Hart's. Jim has a reputation, earned through his hard work, for standing up for his clients and getting amazing results. He's also known for his professionalism and as an all-around friendly guy.
