When I needed a good family law attorney, Wake Family Law Group was recommended to me by friends and family members who are attorneys. Julianne Rothert negotiated and drafted my premarital agreement, and I was impressed with her careful attention to detail. She works well under pressure, and she always took the time to patiently explain both the law and how her document prepared for contingencies. When unfortunate events led to a marital separation a few years later, I turned to Julianne for a separation agreement and property settlement. Once again, her persistent and meticulous style led to a favorable outcome despite difficult circumstances with my estranged wife/opposing counsel. Julianne was skillful in the courtroom, and she was always well-prepared for complicated hearings in multiple jurisdictions. Julianne is an honest, plain-spoken, and trustworthy attorney. My interactions with her paralegal staff and receptionists were also pleasant and highly professional. Overall, I experienced Julianne as a caring and gentle person who values the truth, and she has proven herself capable of fighting vigorously for the benefit of her clients.

My interactions with Wake Family Law has been just as favorable as my friend said his had been years before. Julianne has been courteous and professional throughout each step of my ongoing case. She has given thoughtful, grounded advice along the way that is supported by her numerous years in and out of the courtroom. Dana, Julianne’s paralegal, has been great to work with and has been responsive to communications as well. I’ll admit I haven’t interacted with many others in the group but each time I’ve been in the office everyone has been nice and professional. I know each person’s situation is different. From my own experience with Wake Family Law, Julianne particularly, she has demonstrated she knows her stuff and I will continue to recommend her to others.

Very disappointing experience. I gave the paralegal my case info so when we set down for our $300 1 hour consult we would have the information we needed to proceed or not. When we met with the attorney; no research was done, most unprofessional attire for an attorney I’ve ever seen (would never have allowed her to represent me in court), the paralegal never called me back. I called them repeatedly and several weeks after bugging them they called back to tell me there was nothing we could do. Uncaring, money grabbing firm that i would never allow to represent me.

Rebecca Edwards is by far the absolute best, most ethical and caring advocate you can have in the hardest time of your life!!
