Had an oversight which led to a suspension and a DWLR charge. While I was nervous about insurance and points on my license, I was able to have all of my nerves calmed. Called and spoke directly with Mr. Portnoy and for a relatively low fee, EVERYTHING was taken care of and I didn't even have to be present in court. Thanks so much! Highly Recommend.

01/28/2020 Again was helped by Doug, this time for my own speeding citation, and again, Doug was able to achieve the desired outcome - easy, only had to make one call (to Doug, to ask him to take the case), provide him with the particulars, and pay a very reasonable fee. Return client, once again very pleased with Doug's services, and am pleased to continue highly recommending Doug for any traffic citation assistance. Doug assisted me on behalf of my daughter, who was cited for failure to stop; from the first contact, Doug provided his professional insight into the process, gave expert guidance on what we should expect, and gave clear advice on what we needed to do in order to have the best chance of achieving our desired outcome. Throughout the time leading up to our court date, Doug continued to provide clear communication and advice. Once we had provided Doug with the documentation he needed, he represented us in traffic court, and reported that our case was successful, with the citation being dismissed. Since I lived near Charlotte, it would have been extremely difficult to make a court appearance in Raleigh for a ticket. One phone call and a couple of emails, Mr. Portnoy did all the grunt work for me and got a very reasonable settlement of my offense.

I had gotten a ticket for speeding and reckless driving , Mr Portnoy got the reckless driving dismissed and the speeding ticket reduced. No insurance or license points were added to my record. Couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer and outcome. If you guys are looking for someone who knows what they are doing please consider hiring him, he will definitely get the job done.

I would've put more stars if possible but unfortunately I'm limited to only 5, Mr. Portnoy blew my expectations out of the water, he took on my case and reduced my speeding ticket down a considerably large amount from 27 miles over to just 9 over. No insurance hits, no license suspension. If you need a proper and outstanding attorney then you gotta go with Douglas E. Portnoy! As long as you comply with what he needs you to do, he will make sure to get the job done for you! 10/10 Attorney, double thumbs up!

Mr. Portnoy was amazing. I received a speeding violation for 75 in a 55 and he was able to reduce my violation to an improper equipment. After my ticket I received many ads from other attorney’s, however I chose Mr. Portnoy after looking up attorneys and reading his reviews. His track record for positive outcomes of court cases made choosing him the obvious choice and it was definitely the right choice. I am thankful for his representation and the ease of the whole process. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a traffic attorney.

I spoke with Doug Monday, 01/06/2020 and today, Wednesday, 01/08/2020 he advised me that he was able to get my "DWLR" (Driving While License Revoked) from 2011 dismissed and I will have no license points & no insurance points. I can get my license back on Friday 01/10/2020. I have been trying to handle this case for a long time but have lived out of the country and out of the state making it complicated. Doug took care of my case and at a very reasonable cost in a prompt in professional manner. I called 2 other law firms and both had ridiculous fees and policies. Call Doug and know you are in good hands!
