Unorganized and unprofessional at best

Closed today with Jackson Law. As a new home buyer, I would not recommend Jackson Law (to be explained below). The one positive and amazing person I dealt with was LeRon, who was the settling agent. She took time to explain the documents I was signing and had a pleasant demeanor. Now to the bad: In hindsight maybe I should have been more proactive (but you can’t know what you don’t know), but as a first time buyer, this is NOT the firm for you. Communication is mainly through Qualia (their portal), which is fine, but you do have to login to see messages. My status bar was presumably not updated as 1-2 days before closing, it was still sitting at "title processing 0 out of 2 complete". I had to check with my real estate agent to see if this was true because unfortunately, this fell right on the weekend and Jackson Law isn't open on the weekends and my closing day was on a Monday. Also, the document I reviewed had the wrong loan amount and so that ended up delaying the wiring as I did not know the final amount to wire until the day of; I fully intended to wire the day before (per their instructions). You are also not reminded to wire, they only communicated/reminded you through uploading a document on Qualia. I would like to mention that I do NOT RECOMMEND Mia DiProfio as your paralegal; choose someone else or choose another firm. She was adequately responsive on Qualia, but never called until she didn't see the wire come through at 3 pm on closing day. She seemed more concerned about the money than the way she was treating and speaking to her client. To me, she was very cold. She even told me "I can't confirm wiring instructions, it is what is written on the document" (the document literally says to call to confirm instructions with whomever is working on your closing, but apparently you can't confirm with the paralegal - that’s sarcasm). Well, that became a problem because my bank (Discover) needed the "Beneficiary Name" and "Beneficiary Address" which were not explicitly outlined in their wiring instructions document. Further more, the BIG, CENTERED name and address on the document was the bank name & address and not the beneficiary name & address. When I questioned this over the phone, they said "oh the beneficiary address is in the bottom left" (IN SMALL PRINT). Mind you, the word "beneficiary" is literally not anywhere on the wiring instructions. The person over the phone also did not answer my question directly and said "account name is synonymous with beneficiary name". They were dismissive and had poor communication. I was expecting “yes, the beneficiary name and address is xxxx”. I’m not even sure I wired it correctly because of the poor communication. Also, I was flabbergasted and beyond frustrated and the receptionist randomly said "i'll be right back" when I asked to confirm the beneficiary address (yet she confirmed the wiring instructions earlier in the day). Turns out she TRANSFERRED me to a girl name Gabrielle, whom I never talked to and the receptionist didn’t even tell me she was transferring me. Additionally, Gabrielle hung up on me and I didn’t even realize it until many moments later when my phone defaulted to my bank agent who was on hold on the other line. So much for customer service. As someone who works with people everyday, this is highly unacceptable and Jackson Law completely soured my homebuying experience. TL;DR: 1. LeRon is great. 2. Stay away from the receptionist, Gabrielle (didn't identify what she did with Jackson Law when asked), and Mia DiProfio 3. Wiring instructions are not clear and when you call, they answer passive aggressively. 4. Poor communication. 5. Save your money and go elsewhere where you’ll be treated well.

Jackson Law firm is great to work with, very personable and they go above and beyond the typical closing process, digging to find all pertinent details for home purchase prior to closing. Had it not been for their initiative, I would have never know that the house I was closing on, had covenants/restrictions associated with the subdivision. Additionally, I dealt with an untruthful seller per the disclosures provided, mostly being untruthful as per the obvious, and ultimately inaccurately disclosed, and never was provided a corrected disclosure from seller as per responsibility thereof, and Danielle and Angela with the firm were extremely helpful in helping me understand my rights as the buyer and what can be done ethically in terms of requesting seller concessions at closing, as opposed to going to court. They did not have to accommodate me, since not technically representing my legally and instead were affiliated by means of closing and title processing. I highly recommend Jackson Law, being my 2nd time working with them, when selling my previous home and purchasing current. Very hard working, over-achieve, personable and ensure a seamless process for closing. Thanks Jackson Law for everything!

I thank God for letting me choose this law firm to solve my work compensation case, if I didn't get a lawyer I would have lost my job and my compensation due to my injury, this law firm save me from the worst case scenario gave me Justice, from the first day I started communicating with my lawyer and the office I knew they are trustworthy and communicative, my attorney was Leann Gerlach and my case manager was Jessica Bryant, I can't thank those two wonderful ladies enough! Jessica was always communicative and always answered my questions in a timely manner, and my attorney Leann Gerlach handled my case with dedication and patience, she was very professional she didn't give me any false hopes or promises I knew the outcome of the case the first day I set with Ms Leann and she earned my complete trust from our first meeting. The settlement I got was even better than I expected and it only took them few months to solve my case, although they gave me the option to wait for a longer period to get even a better compensation but I was not willing to risk my health and my emotional well-being be since I was not getting the right treatment through work comp. Again my sincerest thanks and wishes go to Leann Gerlach, Jessica Bryant and all the hard-working team at Ricci law firm.

Jackson Law does such a great job with their real estate closings. All communication is clear and precise not guessing where we are at in the process.

2 closings with this law firm and both times it was an amazing experience. This time in 2024 we found the process was so smooth than 2019 (no complaints then as well, its just the technology adoption by them is making it simple every time it seems). Jeremiah Jackson we worked back then is very professional and knowledgeable attorney. The whole staff is very helpful and lady at the reception was so caring; don't remember her name but she was very kind. Lastly, our attorney Erin Auld was amazing to work with. She was so well prepared and her knowledge and experience speaks it all. She was also helping us answers almost every question on the way in very passionate manner. Some of the tips she gave us to protect our investment in terms of Deed Registration, Title Insurance etc. and finally some better financial advices was a huge plus. Would love to work with Erin again.
