An absolute life saver, quite literally. After meeting with Doug to discuss my speeding ticket that was certain to earn my license revoked and careless/reckless charge added to my license record, he gave me the break down of my possibilities. I was concerned that it would affect my career, being an employee for a city and being required to drive for my career, that type of charge would have crippled my life. Following his advice and trusting his process earned me the outcome I desperately needed. Doug communicated with me well and kept me in the loop, I highly recommend his law firm and him as a representing attorney! I can't thank him and his law firm enough!

This is hands down, the best traffic attorney and the person you need. I received a speeding ticket, that could have resulted in a misdemeanor. After getting the run around from various attorneys all over Raleigh, I got in contact after reading many reviews. I’ve been on edge, and absolutely terrified of the outcome. Attorney Douglas was able to get my ticket reduced, and went as far as fighting for me not to get insurance points. I thought I’d lose driving privileges as well. Could not be happier with Doug Portnoy's help. I've known Doug personally for a long time and so when I have needed representation in traffic court (twice, I regret to say) he's where I've turned. First-rate service both times.
