Easy to communicate with. My speeding ticket was reduced to improper equipment.

I have CDLS and got a speeding ticket while on the work truck and I contacted Attorney Portney and he told me that he could handle it and well he called me back and told me that he ran into a roadblock handling my case...he kept in contact with me and I expressed to him that I I really wanted this gone with no points because of my CDLS plus my insurance....he said let him keep grinding on it and boom he emailed me 3wks later and said it was taken care of with no points on my LICENSE OR INSURANCE!! Attorney Portney pulled a Tom Cruise Mission Impossible with this one!!! He is a BAD MAN!!! AND VERY REASONABLE WITH HIS FEE!! GREAT MAN!! YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH HIM!!

I'm extremely thankful for attorney Douglas ha did such a incredible job took the case I had 3 FTA from like 3 years ago and to tell you the truth I was worried praying to god I wouldn't have to do jail time or have to travel to nc ... I live in Virginia now but he looked at my case without a consultation fee .. he didn't even know if I was actually going to be hiring him but he gave me all the information about my case and thanks to god and his highly motivated spirit got 3 charges dropped and a RECKLESS 30+ to a 15 which is a huge difference in........now I honestly expected this to take at least a month but in a matter of days he had everything thing fixed I'm super grateful and I never even had to show up mannn BLESSED not only was he proactive but he charged me LESS then anyone else AMAZING... 01/28/2020 Again was helped by Doug, this time for my own speeding citation, and again, Doug was able to achieve the desired outcome - easy, only had to make one call (to Doug, to ask him to take the case), provide him with the particulars, and pay a very reasonable fee. Return client, once again very pleased with Doug's services, and am pleased to continue highly recommending Doug for any traffic citation assistance. Doug assisted me on behalf of my daughter, who was cited for failure to stop; from the first contact, Doug provided his professional insight into the process, gave expert guidance on what we should expect, and gave clear advice on what we needed to do in order to have the best chance of achieving our desired outcome. Since I lived near Charlotte, it would have been extremely difficult to make a court appearance in Raleigh for a ticket. One phone call and a couple of emails, Mr. Portnoy did all the grunt work for me and got a very reasonable settlement of my offense.

Mr. Douglas was able to get my wife's speeding ticket reduced to an improper equipment charge. He went to court on the court date and took care of the traffic ticket, emailed the outcome in the afternoon. It was easy process and very satisfied with his service.

I had gotten a ticket for speeding and reckless driving , Mr Portnoy got the reckless driving dismissed and the speeding ticket reduced. No insurance or license points were added to my record. Mr. Portnoy was amazing. I received a speeding violation for 75 in a 55 and he was able to reduce my violation to an improper equipment. I spoke with Doug Monday, 01/06/2020 and today, Wednesday, 01/08/2020 he advised me that he was able to get my "DWLR" (Driving While License Revoked) from 2011 dismissed and I will have no license points & no insurance points. I can get my license back on Friday 01/10/2020. I have been trying to handle this case for a long time but have lived out of the country and out of the state making it complicated. Doug took care of my case and at a very reasonable cost in a prompt in professional manner. I called 2 other law firms and both had ridiculous fees and policies.
