Katelyn Heath and the entire team at Raleigh Divorce Law Firm were amazing to work with during a long and difficult divorce. Katelyn was great at explaining the process and patiently answered my many, many questions. She always focused on what would be best for me and my children without being aggressive or punitive to the other party. I felt very confident having her as my advocate and would not hesitate to recommend her legal services to anyone in need of a divorce lawyer.

First off I would like to give thanks to Heather, Jennifer, Diane, and the rest of the AMAZING team that worked with me on my child custody case. I will not go into details of the case but I will say it was a high conflict case. Heather was not only professional but she showed sincerity in her work, and was an extreme asset in my case. I can honestly say, without her expertise in the field of law the outcome would not have been as favorable as it was. As a single father battling for his two young daughters, I knew I was fighting an uphill battle. Heather focused on the bigger picture instead of just looking at the immediate details of the case. She brought all the positivity up that I provide our children as her main goal. Not only did she bring out the positivity but she provided expert advice for me to conduct on my own in order to help my case. I was advised to seek counseling and I reluctantly agreed, which helped out in the end. I can confirm that Heather and her team are absolute experts in their field. Not only was Heathers advice for me extremely helpful, but her and her team were very punctual and easy to get ahold of. I live in California which gave me a slight disadvantage for contacting them and returning emails during work hours. Regardless, they were always available if I needed to have a quick chat about something that came up. I was very pleased to have such an attentive team on my (and my daughters) side. When it came to our permanent custody hearing I was nervous because I knew the odds were against me. That is until I saw Heather and an entire entourage of legal aids, assistant attorneys, and helping hands that were walking along side her. They were carrying multiple luggage sized carts with notebooks, legal textbooks, trial notebooks for each one of them, and everything else you could possibly imagine that would secure a victory. THEY WERE PREPARED!!! This was one of the most relieving moments during our hearing. Not to mention my ex's attorney brought only a trial notebook that was maybe 1/50th of what Heather and the team had brought with them. As the hearing commenced I was consistently attacked by my ex's attorney and witnesses, which seemed to be the standard. I was even yelled at from one of the witnesses! Heather and Jennifer reassured me the entire time that we were fine and to maintain cool, calm, and collected. This tactic was very useful and showed me that Heather and Jennifer were very experienced and were able to maintain their composure during the very stressful times. And to wrap this up, I can truly say that I gained not only the outcome that I was seeking for custody, but I also gained some new friends. They became friends not because of the outcome, but because I knew they were not just in it for the victory or money. They showed compassion, emotion, and true dedication to getting an outcome that was best for my children. I will forever be thankful for the work Heather, Jennifer, and Diane did for my daughters and me. I hope this review helps somebody out that is in need of an amazing legal team. I hope that more dads that are truly in a situation where they need the best, are able to find Heather and her team and get he help they need.

I could not recommend Jennifer enough, she was clear about all of my options, gave great professional guidance and supported my decisions throughout. She was very responsive, punctual and patient even when opposing counsel was not. She was very prepared for ALL scenarios and brought me confidence and ease with the decisions I was making and the whole process. She was firm with opposing counsel and ultimately got an outcome I was happy with. I will definitely use her again shall the situation arise.

Blake Larsen and Raleigh Divorce Law Firm helped me through an incredibly long and complicated divorce and custody case. The result I was able to achieve was literally the best case scenario and although it took far longer and cost far more than I had initially anticipated I would choose this firm 100 times over. When I separated from my ex in October of 2016 I had no idea the nightmare it would be to actually divorce him and settle the custody of my daughter. He was in and out of jail and rehab throughout the divorce process, moved to different states, and never even showed up to court once! Yet everytime we were due to appear in court and I thought that we would achieve a resolution my ex would write a letter to the judge with some crazy sob story asking for a continuance. Unfortunately for me the judge kept agreeing to continue our case. Blake and I showed up in court 4-5 times without anything being resolved only to be given a new court date a few months later. I didn't have a valid address or phone number for my ex and eventually all communication with him ceased without our divorce or custody being completed. It was impossiblt to track down my ex or get him to show up in court which was SO frustrating, but Blake Larsen and the RDLF team kept me calm and informed about all of our possible next steps. Finally in December of 2018 I was granted my divorce and shortly after I was granted full custody of my daughter. I can't lie and say that these services came cheap, but my personal situation was far more complicated and dragged out longer than the average divorce. After I paid the initial retainer, RDLF also helped me work out a payment plan so that I could make monthly payments instead of having to come up with thousands of dollars on the spot to keep my case active. Regardless, it was worth every penny. The peace I have felt these past two years after ending my terrible marriage and receiving full legal and physical custody of my daughter is literally priceless. So for that reason I highly recommend Blake Larsen and Raleigh Divorce Law Firm and I will be grateful to them for the rest of my life.

Jennifer Sinclair with the firm handled my divorce professionally, kept me informed throughout, and guided me through a settlement that was fair and beyond my expectations. Other staff I encountered during the process were also extremely helpful and professional. I recommend the firm and Jennifer highly.

Update: 4/22 My divorced finally wrapped up and I'm adding one more start since my concerns were handled appropriately. I received a call from N****n and he assured that my review was valued. Overall, while the divorce itself wasn't pretty, the process and the RDL staff made the entire process much more less stressful. I strongly recommend this firm! *********** So far so good. Will update more once my divorce settles, hopefully sooner than later. Update: Had a misunderstanding / miscommunication in the beginning which were sorted out right away and expectations set. Quick to get documents together and sent over to opposing party. Ms. Sinclair is knowledgeable of the law and provide direct guidance/advise that is useful during the process. Divorce took longer than expected but this is due to the opposing party inability to cooperate and meet deadlines. So far, a slight delay here and there, but acceptable. I'm not sure if it's just me, but the front desk personnel isn't a good representation of this firm.

Very impressive team of Attorneys who truly take time to listen to your needs and match them to legal abilities. There is a big difference between what you want to happen and what can actually happen. They work as a unit so you are paying for the advice and counsel of the entire team. Morgan Thomas helped me. She was available within minutes when I would call. Very organized. Very professional.
