I couldn't be happier! I was recommended by a friend to see Fred Amos to help me resolve some issues that weren't being addressed by my previous lawyer and bring my case to a close. I brought to him a mess and, after quickly discerning the facts of the case, he has moved my case monumentally forward in just a few short weeks. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Fred works hard to understand your particular issues, communicates his plan to move forward, communicates effectively with the necessary parties, and keeps you informed of his progress. Divorce is tough enough; you need the right lawyer to help you navigate through the process. My only wish is that I had found him at the beginning instead of the end of my case. If you need a great divorce attorney, Fred Amos is the right one to help you.

I used Fred's services to get a simple divorce. The process turned out to be a tad complicated as my now ex husband made himself untraceable. Fred and a process server handled this and were able to successfully serve and close this chapter on my behalf. I would recommend Fred and his firm for two reasons: (1) His firm was the only one that responded to my initial inquiry while I reached out to at least five firms. This demonstrated the respect for my time and got us on our way fairly quickly. I also appreciated that Fred's advice was to the point and no nonsense. (2) Apart from sending some emails and locating a process server, I didn't do any work. Fred handled it all and this made it a whole lot easier of a process since I've tried to do it on my own without an attorney. I'd definitely recommend Fred for divorce cases or to close real estate deals since we used him to purchase our home and will likely be using Fred's services in the future.

Fred did various services for me when I went through a divorce, and I found him to top notch as well as fairly priced. Would recommend him highly.

Both he and his wife work together, our company had 1x transaction with his wife that went fine. However, he represented our firm in small claims court. He was unresponsive to phone/email, unprepared for meetings-we had to consistently reproduce already provided documents and a slew of other annoying items. The biggest problem was that when it came time to send us a bill after the case closed he attempted to charge us a rate 125% higher than previously used with no notification and no prior estimate. When asked why the different rate his only response was he and his wife charge differently. We ended up paying the $120/hour rate and lower hours only after getting the NCBAR involved. Would suggest getting everything in writing from them before contracting to represent you.

I met Fred and he was up front about everything from the first meeting. He also made sure that he kept expenses down while doing what he had to do for the case. One thing was that was important was that he took the time to go over the details with me and when needed he took the time to explain things to me in a logical manner. Over time he became a trusted friend as he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of properly. Therefore, if you are ever looking for a good, honest, caring, and at times witty lawyer then you may want to talk to Fred. For actual details- he understood the law and when there were points made that were not supportable he was able to counter with force - he took a big picture view of my case and asked me several points that allowed him to serve me better- he was available at crazy hours when things needed to get done and never once cut me off short.

The Amos law firm experience was outstanding!! From a friendly, comfortable atmosphere when I arrived for the first consultation at the office, to a completed case within about a month. His knowledge of the law and professionalism far exceeded my expectation. The completion of my child's change of name has taken a very long time with no end in sight. Mr. Amos was able to find the missing person and complete the court requested petition so that the hearing could be set and the case completed.

Nobody wants to need an attorney, but when you need one, having Fred Amos as yours will definitely help you. First of all, he worked with me to allow me to pay him over time because I didn't have any money for an attorney when the need arose. His experience in the court system and his knowledge with respect to who is who helped me understand my chances all the way along. Finally, it was clear to me that his interactions with the ADA and police officer for my case were very respectful and it showed in how they responded to him. I would hire him again if I ever fall into trouble (which I hope I don't) :)
